We just officially bought our first home today!!! I'm so excited! Now to redo the floors, paint and then move. I can't wait to get out of my shitty apartment and no longer have to listen to my gross neighbors humping!
this is great news! great timing to buy as well as interest rates are stellar!

Pork belly. I bought a whole pork belly that time (it came all rolled up, probably 2-3kg) and cut it up like that when I got home.
we eat a lot of pork belly in my culture.

Hi Josh,
Welcome. I lived in Mill Valley for awhile...loved it but a little chilly for me so I moved up north to San Rafael.
We have a bunch of bay area LST-ers on here so stay and enjoy yourself.
we also have a very active food/cooking thread so feel free to partake and share recipes and food porn :)

Great to hear about Mary Joy on LST. A great gal!
Just a heads up: Tattoo City will be in full force again with Mary Joy and I tattooing all 3 days. Kahlil should be there one day as well, but unfortunately Jen Lee won't be able to attend. My father will be at the convention on Saturday and we will have more of his original art and prints for sale. Hardy Marks books also at the booth! -
get a prescription for cipro, just in case.
also, i have a story about ODing on malaria pills so be careful when you use them. major hallucinations, freaked out at work, seizures.
i'll tell you guys about it at our next LST gathering.

bummer!!! it would have been perfect. why only a few hours in SF?I'm going to be in San Fran for a few scant hours on 22nd September... shame I'm going to miss this! -
I'm not surprised. In fact I would assume that would be a common occurrence. Messing with your eyes just seems like a terrible idea to me.
i totally have to agree with this. last year I got an ulcer in my eyeball and it was so flippin painful. I could not sleep, felt like ly head was going to split in half from the pain.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A 37-year-old man was arraigned Friday on attempted murder and assault charges after authorities say he exchanged gunfire with police at an Anchorage hotel, wounding an officer who was working on a burglary investigation.
Jason Walter Barnum was arrested Friday morning after his release from a hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his arm.
The heavily tattooed Anchorage man was ordered held on $500,000 cash-only bail.
The right side of Barnum's face is almost completely covered with a tattoo of a skull, and his right eyeball has been tattooed black, according to the Alaska Dispatch.
