  1. Yeah, I'll second the shark idea. Sharks are badass.
  2. Definitely been getting into Better Call Saul. Love seeing where they're going with Mike's backstory. I always thought he was one of the more interesting tertiary characters in BB.

    Interstellar

Nice. We used to have one of those around my way back when, but it's been closed for well over a decade now. Interstellar was definitely a mind blower though.

    Interstellar

Definitely an awesome movie. Kinda wish I would've seen this one in Imax, but it was still a great theater experience. The score was so perfect for it too.
  5. If this is in the wrong place or can be merged with an existing thread, feel free to move it. I'll start by saying that I have psoriasis. Not the most severe of cases, but enough so that if I have my shirt off, people wonder what the hell these marks are on my body. Psoriasis is not contagious. Outbreaks can happen anywhere, but for me it seems to be, at least for the past 10 years or so, that my stomach and ribs are the most affected areas. My arms sometimes are slightly affected as well. Obviously these are parts of my body that I want to get tattooed. It is my understanding that psoriasis can localize around skin that has been damaged with cuts, etc. I've gotten several tattoos and never had an issue, however I've also never been tattooed directly on an area affected by psoriasis. With all that being said, I'm curious whether any tattoers or collectors here have dealt with this. I know I've seen it listed on a consent form as a pre-existing condition. Are you uneasy or unwilling to tattoo an area that is affected? Has anyone gotten tattooed on skin that is covered in psoriasis or another kind of skin disorder? Any information you can share in the way of difficulty healing or additional pain? It's something I've had on my mind lately, and I'd be interested in hearing from the community here. Thanks.
  6. This time last year I was enthralled by True Detective, but the second season doesn't start until this summer, so that's shit. Hard to imagine the second season living up to that mind blowing first, but I'm definitely excited for it. Game of Thrones will be starting up soon, so there's that. I watch the Walking Dead too. And with football season over, it's mostly hockey, and lacrosse in the rare instances it's broadcast.
  7. I've never been to a convention, but I'm looking forward to going to the Baltimore convention this spring. I live in the area, so it'll be very easy to drop in whenever. I'm definitely trying to get a walk up if possible as well.
  8. Most recent tattoo I got was on a flash dedicated Friday. It was awesome because I was off work that day, the weather was beautiful, and I just happened upon this information, so it turned into the perfect opportunity. My girlfriend and I rolled up to the shop, which had a clothing/jewelry boutique in the front, and a flash-lined hallway leading to a flash-covered shop in the back. There were a few people ahead of me in line, so we stopped at the bar around the corner since it was gonna be about an hour wait. There was a group of people from out of town there, and they took an interest in this flash day as they overheard us talking. It got to be time for me to head back over and get started, and probably about halfway through my sitting, in comes the group from the bar so the one dude could get tattooed before they had to leave. I liked that vibe, everyone getting these impromptu tattoos because, hell, today's as good a day as any.
  9. I take it none of you only fuck with girls who wear dolce and gabbana?
  10. Wow SeeSea, that's awesome. Not sure which blows my mind more, the backpiece itself, or the fact that you were down there taking all these pictures. Hammerhead shark? Hell no!
  11. My girlfriend is pretty great about my tattoos. She's not tattooed, nor will she ever be, and I feel as though I can say that with the utmost certainty, though things can always change. She gets genuinely excited for me and encourages me, which is really nice. I think it's been a bit of a transformation for her, because she's never had any kind of interest in tattoos before me. It's great to be able to show her awesome tattoos on LST and instagram, and hear her appreciation for them (even if she sometimes doesn't particularly like them). Her family loves me, but I know that they aren't fans of tattoos. Her parents have intimated before that they'd be pissed if she got one, so it does cross my mind that the more I get covered, they might have negative opinions. Unfortunate, but not the end of the world.
  12. When you also consider the neck beard this guy is working on, this truly is as horrifying as it gets.

    Hello there

@CultExciter, I definitely welcome recommendations. I'm looking to get some American traditional, and I've been leaning towards an eagle, but then again there's a lot I'm interested in. I've had a friend suggest Brightside in Baltimore. Any shops/tattooers you'd recommend highly?
  15. I notice that any time I access the forums through tapatalk, I get a message saying "failed to connect to forum, contact forum administrator if problem persists." Then I go on my merry browsing as if nothing ever happened. Doesn't seem to affect my use of the forums, guess it's just one of those things.

    Hello there

That's what I hear. I'm lookin forward to discovering what's around the way. I do recall reading through a thread on here at some point about some historic spots/people in Baltimore, very cool stuff. Anyways, thanks for the welcome guys.

    Hello there

Figured I should finally post in here. I mostly just lurk, trying to pick up little bits of wisdom and look at awesome tattoos. My plan is to hopefully have a new tattoo in the near future that I can share on the forum. Nice little community y'all have here. -Bmore
  18. I got a matching(fragmented) tattoo with my ex years ago. Looking back, it was a little too lovey dovey and corny, but no regrets. Besides, after we split up, I had an excuse to get a new tattoo! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  19. Got this on my left forearm a couple years ago by Devin at Shepke Studios.
