  1. Isn't that a feeling of relief! No more room left for huge sittings. But then on the other hand, after all these years drilling the suit, I'm gonna miss the whole design stage. When people ask, what ya gonna do when ya run out of skin? My reply is, there'll always be room to drill a little bit of black into.
  2. Spiced beers. Interesting. Nice Wonder Woman cup. I got a Superman mug. We could play drunken super heroes ;) This South Australian beer is superb.
  3. Good reading. I have a tiny bit to finish tieing the neck together, colour one butt cheek and a little inner thigh, then the only place to fill then is ..feet to sleeve. Been dreading the thought of the feet even more than before slamming armpits, sternum & knee pit. Anyone here had the ankle bone worked over?
  4. Thank you. I'm always up for trying new alcoholic beverages.
  5. Early Discharge. Faaark yeah. Cheers. Tattooed Mother Fuckers. Love these mad fuckers! - - - Updated - - -
  6. When I say hot, I don't mean scolding hot. Very warm is cool. Oh, and probably just as important...a cold pint of cider while in the shower :)
  7. ^ what Oz said. Can't recommend enough also a couple of long hot showers a day to help with quick healing. The full back tattoo. The most prized possession of any suit. Welcome & good luck also.
  8. Good ol' Aussie grog rock!
  9. Some more old Brisbane, Australia thrash. Mouthguard - Stalingrad. - - - Updated - - - - - - Updated - - - - - - Updated - - - Brisbane OI! - Plan Of Attack. More recent. - - - Updated - - - Sydney Oi! Rock n roll. Kingy from Rose Tattoo on bass. These fuckers kick arse.
  10. Little work to tidy up around the neck line next week, just some black fill, clouds & lightning bolts then on to finishing the hammer head shark taking up one side of the butt cheek. Outline is in, time to smash the colour. Not looking forward to that recovery, plus it's getting cold here. Man, I hate being tattooed in the winter.
  11. Some old Aussie stuff "Arm The Insane", 1985 from their debut demo tape. - - - Updated - - - Vicious Circle. 1985. - - - Updated - - - Anger In Motion, from a '91 compilation but released '86ish - - - Updated - - - A good little trip down memory lane.
  12. That's an inked Aussie mumma for ya! Speaking of Cider Mumma, been punching pints of cider for breakfast with me ol' mate today. If ya wanna try some real horrible cider, try a flagon of Westons Old Rosies. It's flat, it has floaties, it looks like cats piss, it tastes like cats piss..but at neary 8% it's faaarkin moorish. If this shit doesn't help with ya gettin' ya tits out, nothing will :)
  13. It stinging is a good indicator straight up mate. Cetaphil is designed for dry skin, not an open wound. Have a look at the ingredients, it's alcohol based. This shit here is fkn good shit for fresh tattoos. It cleanses and has a mild local anaesthetic. In saying that though, personally I pretty much dry heal. Post tattoo, old mate hot water towel pats the tattoo down. Not boiling water, but pretty warm. An hour later I'm home, pumping hot shower while drinking ice cold cider. (The cider being the most important part). I'll use a soft body wash to hand wash the tattoo down, one with an Alo Vera or similar base. The only time I'll use the paw paw is if an area is red/ inflamed & only just a light film. No need to over gunk. Cetaphil is a great moisturiser to help nourish when dry, but again, I'll hardly ever use it and it doesn't necessarily have to be Cetaphil. I've only been using it recently on my hand & knuckles as it was healing hard, and the Mrs had it handy. Don't stress about the ink either. Sounds like ya just copped a belting and it's weeping a little. I ain't no expert on healing, and we all have different ways. This way just works for me. Hope this helps.
  14. Cetaphil is good shit but not on a fresh tattoo. I only use this during the scab/ itch phase & only in real dry & difficult areas.
  15. I've had both legs sleeved and found them slower healing than any other area. Found ribs & kidneys were flake healing within the week, including the solid black. Legs were sucky!
  16. Black Throne. Excellent choice. Clint is also one of the nicest blokes you'll ever meet. My tattooer is kind of retired, plus I stick with the one guy to suit out, but I'de refer everyone who asks BT way without a second thought.
  17. Minor Threat are way too fkn cool to ever be considered cliche in my book.
  18. Sussed the possibility of adding another motorcycle to the stable. The Deluxe is looking sweeeet.
  19. Mexicans everywhere! [emoji12]
  20. I have a major dislike for anything sun, sea & sand. Thats probably a good thing. I hate the beach. Mind you, a front bar overlooking the beach on the other hand.
  21. How ya doing Hellbunny [emoji106] Brisbane here. Did ya make it to Rites Of Passage recently?
