  1. I collected bottle caps as a young kid. Had a lot of my dad's beer bottle caps, Jones soda caps, Arizona caps, etc. When I go to concerts and festivals and whatnot, I like to keep the ticket stubs. Starting this year, I began a collection of cool paintings and prints from various artists. My mom also kept a TON of our pictures from when my sisters and I were kids, and pictures that her dad passed down to her (he used to own a lithograph/photo service, so he had a whole bunch of family photos); I hope to get some of those when she is ready to pass them on. Also, recently (read: the past couple of weeks), I have bought two pairs of Levi's raw/selvedge denim jeans. I really like them so far (I've worn my 1947 501s once, and I am currently sitting in a pair of original fit 501s to get them fitted to my legs after soaking them for a while, so they would shrink-to-fit). This is a pretty expensive "collection" item, so I think I will wear these for a few months before I decide to buy another pair. And, I think these are going to be my new GO-TOs for everyday wear. I'll still wear my black Dickie's, but for now it's all denim for a while. I have a very small collection of tattoo related books as well. I suspect that collection will grow in coming years. And business cards.

  3. Following you on Tumblr, and have your WordPress blog bookmarked. Another vote for posting the interview as one post.
  4. Welcome to the best tattoo forum ever!
  5. Some of the pictures that are being posted are getting cropped by the narrow post box width. Some other forums that I have been on either let the pictures on each page determine the width of the posts, or have scroll bars so that users can see the whole picture. Just a suggestion. There are some really great photos being posted, and sometimes people may want to see the high resolution versions. The attachment option is good for that, but then again, the image size limit is 800x800.
  6. Some pictures from a book I picked up not too long ago entitled A History of Japanese Body Suit Tattooing (I found out about the book thanks to a couple people on this site, so thank you for that, LST). Unfortunately, none of these pictures had credits for the tattooers. The third and fourth picture are both tattoos of Benkei (or Onikawamaru [Young Devil Child]) fighting a giant carp that devoured his mother at the Bishamon Waterfall.
  7. Everyone at Spider Murphy's does such great work. Nice tattoo, @chrislj54 .
  8. My two sisters and I have discussed getting a family tattoo. Have yet to decided what to get, though.
  9. Had a turkey burger on top of romaine lettuce with Braggs liquid aminos for the lettuce, and mustard on the burger. Was still hungry, so I had some chicken with miso dressing. Ben & Jerry's for dessert.
  10. The Champion juicers are the best. Specifically this juicer: Champion Juicer G5-NG-853S | eBay It will last FOREVER, and is top quality. As for recipes, just experiment with different fruits and veggies, and see which you like best.
  11. @Jake George Campise is the shit. He was in the SF episode of The Gypsy Gentleman if you want to see some more from him.
  12. Just booked my flight and hostel for New York City on the weekend of the 24th, 25th, and 26th. Getting a piece from Bailey Hunter Robinson on that Sunday. Super stoked!
  13. @semele , that's a great tattoo! Ron gave me a snake and black rose on my thigh at the last SFO Convention. A great guy, and a great tattooer.
  14. Great video, great song!
  15. My dog used to taunt my other dog into chasing her and then steal his spot on the couch.
  16. @hogg . Right. Forgot about that one. Short term memory, ya know. Depending on when I take my trip to the East Coast, I may have something to contribute this month.
  17. I don't have a smart phone anymore. Definitely missing out on some great work because of that. I have a Tumblr, though, so I see a lot of stuff on there.
