  1. its good discussion here asian - i think folks are just being honest - i do think you might be in trouble in regards to wanting to go into law enforcement with a neck tatt - i have friends who are cops and several have ink - even on the lower arms - anyway - my field - education - you'd probably be ok - especially since i too think its on the tamer side in terms of content - my ink is not too visible at work but can be seen at times when i wear certain shirts - anyway - neck tatts are very cool but i'd be lying if i told you it was a great placement for your first - but as it has been said - yolo!!!

  2. I don't remember exactly what was on the form, but the Yes and No overlapped on the electronic one I had to do, so I clicked Yes for everything :o

I had to ask my husband about this topic. I thought he didn't really care, but now I know. He really doesn't care one way or the other about my tattoos. He said sitting through the one he came along for was kind of neat, and kind of boring. I know he'll never get a tattoo, or ride a roller coaster, or enjoy swimming in the ocean. So I do that stuff on my own or with my son.

    that man's missing out lol

    ah to each their own

    no tatts on my wife

she is crazy for rollercoaters though

    and the beach

  3. I'm quoting you but addressing all. Yes, we do sarcasm here. But like any group of people in the real physical world, you can't go waving around sarcasm immediately without feeling folks out first, sniffing butts and being really obvious in the beginning that you are being sarcastic. Believe me, we LOVE sarcasm here, and foster conversations and people who enjoy the art.

But just like in the real world, you can easily get rebuffed if you aren't being cognizant of basic social graces, which are so much harder to make obvious through a keyboard. And I suspect that's what you are feeling now. Don't turn around and call this group cliquey and passive aggressive as a result - read around, absorb who people are and when/why some conversations (and sarcasm) are had.

Or, huff off and demand your account be deleted. Your choice of course.

AND NOW BACK TO WHAT IS IMPORTANT.

    Awesome, @losParanoyas!

i didnt read the above post but i love it!

  4. Yea, one of the things you need to learn (as new to tattoos, I assume?) is that there will always, Always, be something wrong with a tattoo. Whether that something is created in your own head or is something visible, you'll find something wrong with all of your tattoos. I can point to all the flaws in mine: where a line fell out, where the color didn't heal like I thought it would, where color faded after healing, where the line has spread a bit, should have gone a different color, should have gone black & grey, etc.

Learn to live with it - they all come out like that, with some manner of imperfection. Nobody will scrutinize your tattoo like you will, they'll see some finger waves and an octopus - and it is a nice tattoo. Just get more.

    dont forget bad placement!

    good advice above

    to the OP

dude - your tatt is cool

even if it wasnt - you should still rock it like you stole it
