Thanks for the nod, Ms. Rad. Those actually healed effing PERFECTLY. They look great. That is on a shop regular, and the same day that I did that, someone else did the same tattoo and we both posted them on tumblr. Mine was better though, haha

    palm tattoos

since there has been a lot of discussion about them over at the Most Painful thread, i thought it might be time to set aside a thread devoted to palm tattooing alone. i saw a set that Lizzie did and i thought it was extremely beautiful and elegant despite being so simple (and physically, understandably so!) i would be lying if i said i wasn't jealous and didn't wish that it was on me rather than the person in the picture (and i have never wanted hand tattoos before seeing this!) anyone else seen any that they really love?

    Food and Drink list

I just started brining a cow's tongue on Wednesday. It'll take about five days in the brine before I can cook it. Same prep as a corned beef, then cooled and sliced on my deli slicer (seriously... every home should have one) and served as a sandwich. Little spicy mustard and you're set. Once people get past the initial "ick" factor of organ meat... it's usually quite good.

I've made recently: stuffed baby eggplant (meat version and vegetarian version) - the meat version i made with ground chicken, egg, and breadcrumbs -vegetarian version could also be vegan as long as you omit the cheese for on top. i stuffed it with portabello mushrooms and artichoke hearts and used bread crumbs to bind and spiced it up real nice. or use a soy cheese on top! French onion soup with lots of sweet spanish onions, thyme and brandy. its so good with the croutons and crispy cheese on top i made a portuguese fish stew with almost everything under the sun in iT! crab, lobster, sh

that reminds me... Lochlan and I gave our nephew quite the xmas present last year. he shaved off his mustache and I shaved off my beard and we put them in ziploc bags for him to be able to have his own facial hair. hahahaha. he's super skeptical of gifts from us now.

  10. Anything archetypal that's stood the test of time. Imagery that properly conveys the tattoo aesthetic survives on its own. When Malone tattooed me, he talked about "flags." When he did the Sacred Heart thing on my chest (brutal, I dry cried throughout) he made a cross in the air and said "A cross, now that's a good flag. Two lines." In my limited interactions with that guy I really paid attention to what he said. He knew what he was doing. His flash is pretty much perfect to me. Not that Jerry's isn't. And Joe Lieber's. I need to look at more of Jensen's crap.

that chick linda tattoos for oliver in Dallas, i was totally fucking with her while she was tattooing because i thought she was doing her first tattoo on her boy friend and it was facing the wrong way. an hour later when she was shading it i was like"whatever it's the first one it's not like you do this for a living" which i found out ten minutes later she did...totally bummed her out. she has the craziest cover ups al over the place..

That seems like a really weird placement for a tattoo, but Scott says that long lines of text in odd places is a current fad in the world of tattoo designs for women.
