Dammit. I've been thinking about a giant panther tattoo myself. If only I could sit still and keep my mouth shut when it counts, I could probably have some kick ass tattoos.

Hello and welcome to LST!
-
I don't have time to read this whole thread, although I am glad that it's been brought up on LST.
My two cents: I 100% understand that symbol was around and used in several cultures long way before that delusional psychopathic meth head chose it to represent himself and the drugged up soldiers fighting his Blitzkrieg. I understand that it has a powerful meaning, completely unrelated to death squads, extermination camps, gas chambers, mass graves or burning emaciated bodies, but that's what it means to me. No matter how nice the tattoo or painting, even when I want to see past it, it's there for me. Jondix had drawn some beautiful designs incorporation the symbol for my husband, who had the courtesy to ask first, and I had to say no, too much baggage for me. But if it means something completely different for you, go for it. I don't care what the rest of you do with your bodies, but I just can't have it in my own house.

Hello Mr. Know Nothing! This whole world would fall to shit without the floor cleaners and coffee makers, so god bless you and welcome to LST.

Thanks for providing such great pics, can't wait to see the progress. What's your plan for your back after it's all done?

I think getting a shirt involves the number of times you email @dari to get in touch with @Scott Sylvia, or something with Lochlan and being thoughtful..?
No, no, shirts are not at my house. But I believe @dcostello should have one just for being the funniest guy on here.

Tattoo artist Ryan Fitzgerald from Dayton, OH was hit with a $100,000 lawsuit last week by his ex-girlfriend Rossie Brovent. She claims that her boyfriend was supposed to tattoo a scene from Narnia on her back but instead tattooed an image of a pile of excrement with flies buzzing around it.
Apparently, Ryan found out that Rossie had cheated with a long-time friend of his, but instead of confronting her about it he acted like everything was normal and hatched a plan for revenge. Originally, Rossie tried to have Ryan charged with assault, but the ingenious tattoo artist had covered his bases by plying Rossie with wine and tequila shots and getting her to sign a consent form that stated the design was “at the artist’s discretion.”
No word from Rossie on whether the illicit night of passion with Ryan’s friend was worth it. Moral of the story? Never cheat on a tattoo artist.

I would also say to go with "What's New." I've noticed that the "New Posts" times out after a while, meaning that if I sign in and take a lengthy break before going back to What's New, they're gone as if I had read them.
Thanks for paying attention, and the heads up!

Hello and welcome to LST! Didn't you know that your first tattoo is supposed to be terrible? You first tattoo is really nice!
What threads did you try to post in that didn't show? Cause there are currently no threads awaiting moderation that I can see.

Seriously can't get the final scene of Walking Dead out of my head. Kinda wanted to bring it up in the middle of the yoga class I was teaching tonight, but I don't think all those peaceful yogis are loving the undead as much as I am right now.

Hello and welcome! Was there something in particular that you were looking for?

Hahaha she just wants to be friends!! In a lunchtime kind of way.
Okay, she can sit at my table, although my table is real rowdy. I'm assuming she has excellent table manners and cuts her food up real tiny, we might be a bit rough for her.

Hello MrDavid, nice to meet you.

Thanks for chiming in @Perez. This is actually the only forum I'm ever on, but this is what we figured would happen.

Hello and welcome. Mike Rubendall is amazing, we'll keep you company until your appointments!

It's true, the forum is for everyone, artists, collectors, and the curious/untattooed public seeking good information on tattooing and inspiration. We decided in the beginning to not exclude collectors from the discussions on tattooing, and that this wasn't the place to discuss techniques and trade secrets. However, you can PM anyone on the forum and discuss anything privately. It's discussed at length here and there in different threads, but summed up best here:
It's not that it's a bad idea, it's just not appropriate for this forum. And thanks for signing up and welcome to LST!

@Chelsea Shoneck, thanks for finally introducing yourself! I say stupid stuff all day long, so I get the apprehension, but I'm glad you've come out from the shadows. And, that bird is scaring me. A lot.

@Joe Shit, you're awesome, always coming with the good information.

K, wasn't meaning to debate if it was the best TV show ever, but it is the one I'm waiting for with the most anticipation right NOW. Of course I'm also looking forward to Game of Thrones and True Blood. I'm also loving Dexter and Boardwalk Empire and SOA. But Walking Dead makes me bite my nails when I'm watching, and there's never a boring moment.
Regarding the Wire, I got so upset about the kid (Wallace?) getting killed at the end of the first season that I decided not to watch it anymore. Six months later, someone gave us the second season full of jumps and scratches, with one episode stopping at some serious vital moment, so I stopped watching. I think I might re-visit the series soon though, just saw a few boxed seasons at a friends house today.
