Sometimes it's the thought that counts! And you definitely want to chase off the ladies that don't like beards, anyway. When I first got my nose pierced in 1988 on the East coast, there were actually people who judged me by it. I always felt like they were doing me a huge favor, letting me know that they were small minded and that I didn't need to pursue any type of friendship.

I've never thought of "collector" as an elitist term, just as a way of saying, "I'm not getting a bodysuit from one person, I like the work of so many tattooers and I'm working on a collection bit by bit." I have a substantial rock collection. If I only had one, I wouldn't be a collector, I'd just be another person with a rock. Does that make sense? I just thought it was a way to classify ourselves here, as in "Are you a sweet tatz wizard, or are you hoping to get into some squid slacks?"

y'know, i like the squid pant's name for leg tattoos. i don't even like the term sleeves for arm tattoos. sure there are proper sleeves worked out on someone as a full arm tattoo. but if i'm out somewhere and somebody says, "ooh, can i see your sleeves?" i think, "fuck off, retard", unless it's a hot girl, but i would still think she is stupid, but i would use her stupidity as an edge to get her to sleep with me. because you have to be pretty stupid to sleep with me. and customers that come in for a "sleeve", or thinking "i want to get a tattoo here and turn it into a sleeve someday", annoy me to. they're just tattoos.

Scott's experiencing something similar right now, someone from Vacaville opening up a shop up the street. I don't get it, I've been to Vacaville and seen the tattoo there, seems like if the guy was any good, he'd make a million bucks fixing all those bad tattoos in Vacaville!

Okay, top of the feet weren't bad in comparison to anything on the sides of the feet and around the ankle. And inner bicep was awful for me, but I thought it was just because I showed up for my appointment with all my endorphins already gone. I had done a 3 hour yoga workshop on arm balances and hand stands that day, god only knows what I was thinking. But I had pre-paid for that workshop, and when Tim Hendricks rolls through town, you just get in where you can. When it came time to even write down the word I wanted on the tattoo, my hands were already shaking. Poor Tim, I was even begging him to not do the color, but he wasn't having it. The whole back of my arm was covered in bruises from him having to hold it so tightly 'cause I was trying to get away.

Now this guy seems like a real keeper, bet he has to fight the ladies off.

i very recently joined. i noticed that everyone had relatively recent joined dates as well as "low" post count compared to other online forums, and couldnt figure out why. everything just seemed so awesome about LST. i am finding out just now how "young" LST is, and it explains everything.
i have to say a BIG congratulations is in order. in light of this revelation LST seems like an even more interesting corner of the interwebs. i look forward to being part of the LST community and seeing how it grows.
