  1. I watched 90% of it, but for some reason the DVR didn't record all of it. (maybe it became self-aware)lol I thought it was pretty good. It was alot better than hearing the sob stories of all the other tattoo shows.......it was actually about tattooing. And it wasn't tattoo school. I don't think they put it on the air thinking that actual tattooers would watch it, so of coarse they Hollywooded it up. I will keep watching just for the FAILS.

  2. How long ago did you get it? It could be a combination of things. Your artist my have over worked the area, had a bad needle (a needle with a hook or barb) or something like that, or it could be something you've done. If you have pets, you could have gotten pet hair in it while you were sleeping or really anything for that matter, if you haven't been washing it properly. Lotion is only half the battle. If you put lotion on a dirty surface, it is still dirty. If the tattoo or area around the tattoo is red, feel it to see if it is warmer than the unred or "normal" skin. If it is warm you have an infection. I feel this kind of a grey area. You could wash it multiple times a day for a day or two with Antibacterial soap and pat dry with a paper towel, and see if the heat and redness goes away. IF it were me (and keep in mind this is what I do, and I am sure many people will disagree) If the area is still warm to the touch and the redness hasn't lessened after a day or two washing it as I described, I would put Neosporin or any antibiotic ointment on it. Probably twice the first day and two to three time the second day. That should take the heat out of it and reduce the redness. If it does no good and the redness spreads, GO TO THE Doctor for some antibiotics. And just for the hell of it, call your artist, and see what he recommends. And I am sure your artist will be more than happy to do any touch up work that the heavy scabbing may cause. I would much rather get a "touch up" than get a bacterial or staff infection, fo sho. I hope this helps, and I hope I didn't piss too many members off, lol

  3. I think if you like it, fucking get it. Trends, hipsters, tribal, etc will come and go. What about the people getting traditional stuff in the late 80's early 90's when it wasn't "cool" and now it is. Don't get me wrong I have always loved traditional work. I have it and will continue to get it. But I am also starting to get sick of seeing it on fucking everyone. There is always going to be a trend that co-insides with what you already enjoy. Sorry for the rant. And back to the fucking hipsters....

  4. Dude, this is the second time you've brought up some derogatory shit about black folks. First time was in the knuckle tattoo thread (http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/tattoo-101/244-knuckle-tattoos-best-youve-seen-your-current-fav-page12.html).. It's not about "being PC" it's about not spreading negativity or racism just to be funny or get a rise out of people.. I'm sure you joke with your friends about some things, and when I'm around my good friends, we talk a lot of bullshit about pretty much everything, but we know the limits of what's considered funny within our group.. and that's probably where you should keep your love of ignorant knuckle tattoos and whatever else you wanna do to "continue the hatred." I'm sure you didn't mean anything by it –– I'm hoping you didn't mean anything by it –– but it's tough to see through that kind of bullshit on the internet.

    Fuckin' A.

  5. Also, when I was younger, like highschool early 20's I had a recurring nightmare where I somehow thought it was an awesome idea to get a Marilyn Manson full back piece... pretty glad that never came true. I remember even in the dream thinking wow that was a fucking awful idea and being really bummed on the tattoos.

Being bummed about a Manson tattoo? IS that possible? I mean look at all those bitchin' ICP tattoos!

  6. Honestly I remember a bunch of a people doing specials for his birthday last year so this is nothing new, it's just has corporate sponsorship this year and free rum and the "media" is now covering it. Bottom line is he died in 1973, so I can't really pretend to have a moral high ground on this issue, I wasn't even born yet. It could be worse, there could be cherry creek rum and tattoo johnny vodka.

Holy shit man, I almost pissed myself!

  7. Even with seat covers, I definitely appreciated the handrails in disabled stalls while healing my ass. It helps a lot with hovering! Honestly though, I didn't have a hard time sitting. Getting up again was much more annoying.

Wow. just read all 21 pages. (all great stuff of coarse) But it really took a strange turn here towards the end! lol
