I remember my uncle had one and he was in the navy he was sooo cool when I was a little kid.

Interesting info here. I have always removed the covering a few hours after the tattoo and go from there and most have healed just fine. But on my upcoming tattoo I have read the artists after care instructions and it says to rewrap it and keep it covered for 3 days. Im not sure about that but it is a well known artist.

Sorry for your loss I know it's hard but it does get easier everyday as you except the loss and move forward.

I lost my Dad 2 years ago and I still miss him everyday but know its part of the cycle of life.. I got a nice tattoo as a memorial to him and you know a tattoo fixes everything.
