i kept thinking the same thing. that flash was really cool. great episode. totally bummed when it ended. only one more episode with valerie.

so fucking pissed i haven't been able to see Trial since they started playing shows. how fucking good is are these our lives? album makes me want to destroy things. i'm seeing Minus the Bear and Caspian tomorrow night. Pretty excited about that.

i was just lurking this thread again from the beginning and i noticed that i wrote eagle in there. i must've been high on my own farts, because i'd want a tiger, dragon, snake. must've just been on auto pilot when i wrote that.

I’m always baffled by some of the horrendous tattoos that I come across on a daily basis. Sadly, it really doesn’t surprise me. most people have shitty taste in everything, and just blindly take in what others deem to be cool or quality ie music, clothing, movies, etc, so tattoos really aren’t an exception. i recently saw a dude with the chevrolet symbol with the american flag colored inbetween the lines. it was fucking horrendous. i saw a dude yesterday was a series of tribal tattoos that looked to be older, or very fucking shitty, and they weren't colored in. what the hell?

god, so fucking lame. i never support these shows, because they're a joke, but this one might be funny to watch.

so god damn excited. i'm getting tattooed this friday by dan santoro. getting a bracelet around my wrist and another tattoo. for my second tattoo, i'm going in there with the intention to just pick something off of the wall. if all else fails, i'll go with a dragon.

I have the back of both of my calves tattooed. Each took over 4 hours, and I did them both in one sitting. My left ankle swelled up a pretty good size. It hurt like a bastard to walk on it for about 3 days. My right leg wasn’t nearly as bad, but still swelled up.

god, this seems so fucking stupid on so many levels.

@RoryQ I see where you're coming from, but I just felt like this person was doing this more as a means to make some quick cash. i could be completely wrong, but that's just how it seemed after i read the interview she posted. i'm probably making too much out of this.

as far as i knew, i thought the whole point of flash was that it was painted for people to pick tattoos that they wanted, not necessarily to be sold. also, as i mentioned in my initial post, she said in an interview she's looking to primarily sell art and tattoo to supplement her income. i don't know. shit rubbed me the wrong way. guess i see it a little differently.

The thing that I find lame is that she said in her about me that she will draw up stencil for $20 for you to then take to get tattooed, not to mention what @Kev said about her biting people/ideas.

Flash Paintings by Quyen Dinh i came across this chick's tumblr and found it pretty fucking lame. maybe i'm picking hairs here, but after reading a little bit of that interview, and her about me, i was instantly turned off by what she's doing. i just find it lame that someone is trying to make money off of their art flash and looking to become a tattooer to supplement their income.

i don't like using aquaphor. i'm a cocoa butter kinda guy.

Don't know if he's been mentioned, but Erich Foster from Rise Above Tattoo in Buffalo, NY. Dude does some awesome work, and I don't hear his name mentioned that often.

other than taking pictures of my tattoos, i do pretty much everything else posted in here.

finally got to watch it last night. my gf was nearly as excited as i was. either way, great way to start the new season. thoroughly enjoyed this episode. of course i had to go back and watch dan santoro's part again.

can't wait to eventually get my back tattooed, but that will probably be the last place i venture to.
