  1. I usually take the wrap off after 4 hours, have a hot shower (which always SUCKS), then pat dry and apply a thin layer of bepanthen (nappy rash cream). Wash morning and evening and keep a tube of e45 cream with me in case it dries out at all.
  2. I remember seeing Nikko Hurtado post a crazy Boba Fett to his instagram a few months back, i'd hunt it down if i wasn't so lazy right now Edit: Guess i'm not so lazy after all: .@nikkohurtado | Finished up #bobafett last night this was a fun #starwars #tattoo still need ... | Webstagram - the best Instagram viewer
  3. I haven't seen the show but this bothers me hugely. I've been tattooed by people who are fast and by people who are not so fast, but the key is that they're always working at their own pace and the result of that has been a fantastic tattoo. I'd rather endure 6 hours of pain and pay twice as much than spend 3 hours in the chair and end up with a rushed piece of shit on my body.
  4. You better hope they don't win another Euro cup - or at least that they win 2 more so the extra stars look balanced :P
  5. Wow, love that baseball tattoo! I'm a huge football (soccer) fan but i would never consider getting a team badge/crest tattooed on my body. Having said that, the badge for my favourite club (Arsenal) is an old style cannon, which i think would make quite a nice tattoo if done in a traditional style.
  6. Man i'm loving this season so far, very promising. Also i don't know who that blonde chick is but holy fuck is she hot
  7. I assumed that visible (hand, neck, face) tattoos had always been a no no for police officers, guess i was wrong. Edit: Looking at the article, i do find it odd that they list union jacks and panthers as tattoos that have led to applicants being rejected. What the hell is so terrible about a panther?

  10. Had my appointments with Frank and Sarah Carter today, so i'll crack on with the pictures :) First up a calf piece from Sarah: Then after a bite to eat and a much needed sugar intake, this palm sized space filler from Frank on the inside of my right wrist: I should say i borrowed both images from their respective instagram pages. Not sure if either of them will read this but i have to say they were both great today, in terms of the tattoos done and just making sure i had as good a time as is possible while being jabbed with needles! The art will always speak for itself but not everyone has the capability to make the whole tattoo experience (for want of a better word) a memorable one. And on that note i'm heading to bed, it's been quite a day :D
  11. Most of mine are on a full length mirror in my bedroom, but it's rapidly losing the "mirror" part as i cover it up. Think i might have to move to the fridge
  12. Managed to get tickets for myself and a few friends, any other festival fans on LST? I live ~20 mins from Glastonbury so it's become a bit of a tradition with me, think i've been every year since 03.
  13. Huge Dexter fan, loved the first 4 seasons (4 in particular, John Lithgow was incredible) but i agree that seasons 5 and 6 have been relatively weak (up until the finale of 6!). Watched the 1st episode of the new season and thought it was a huge return to form, can only hope they manage to sustain such a high level.
  14. "Specialising in cover ups" I don't think you can really add that to your cv when it's other artists having to cover your shitty work.
  15. That's awesome, love Mina's work. Nice to see plenty of South West people on here, i'm a somerset boy myself.
  16. I'd be interested to know how much money each of us went through during our visit, i spent £200 on a tattoo and not much else but it looks like there was a lot more money being spent by the rest of you!
  17. Chad is such a fuckin beast, it's almost unfair
  18. Jo Black, owns a shop in my town and has been putting out some really nice work lately. We live in a pretty small place but i wouldn't be surprised to see Jo getting some more attention nationally if she keeps doing what she's doing. https://www.facebook.com/BlackIncTattoo I have such a huge soft spot for the lady/lion head tattoo in her cover photo.
  19. Got my little leopard head from Ross Nagle at the London convention on Saturday. Top, top guy and a great tattooer. Terrible pic of my badly swollen inner elbow - the faded black above the head is from an old tattoo that will more than likely be covered at some point. Oh and apologies if the picture is huge, think i should have gone for 'medium' rather than 'large'
  20. So i see from the latest tattoo thread! Mine was done by Ross Nagle, more of a snow leopard vibe as it's mostly blue, so happy with it. I'll throw a pic in the other thread after i give it a wash, it's pretty raised right now but i guess that's just because of the location.
  21. Great day yesterday, got a little leopard head in my elbow ditch (far from a pleasant experience). I did see a guy in an LST t shirt walk past while i was being tattooed but i wasn't really in a position to get up and accost him! I'll throw a pic on when i've got rid of this hangover :/
  22. Man i fucking love that tiger head, awesome placement too.
  23. So weird how this varies from person to person. The 2 hours spent on my calf were a piece of cake for me, but i've got the other calf coming up in a few weeks so maybe i'll share your pain after that!
  24. +1 for black sheets. I have a spare set i put on after every tattoo i get done, although i had to learn the hard way. My white sheets looked like something from a HR Giger wet dream
