So when are you gonna come visit us in the frozen north? We can talk about Agent Coopers favorite pie.
@The Hyena has to come down to Baltimore to tattoo me before he goes to Alaska!!!
Zeke Owen slipped away and ended up in Alaska before I got tattooed by him....The Hyena is not doing the same thing....ha ha ha!

I have definitely done some things in my life I probably shouldn't have....that being said.......I also have a 22 year old God-daughter at my house that is going through treatment for cancer....and playing that card pisses me off very much!!!
My God-daughter is having to fight the insurance company at every turn and is getting treatments that she may indeed be responsible for at $2500 a day!
She hasn't been out robbing banks.....prostituting herself....or copying other peoples art and allowing them to be sold to the public! (mistake or not....it happened)
I have seen the tattoo community come together so many times before to help fellow artists and I don't understand why if there is a problem this wasn't done this time as well!
I'm sorry, but I just don't have any sympathy for someone who does this no matter what the reasoning....it was wrong and she should own up to it and apologize to those artists she wronged and then STOP this kind of behavior!
Again....mistakes happen....BUT.....the people who's art was copied should talk to her about this directly and she should indeed apologize.....whether it was intentional or not.....it happened!

I have three dots on my finger!
It is partially covered up by my knuckle tattoos but it couldn't fully be covered and I didn't want it to be fully covered!
I also just added a much larger one on my right forearm as Dave Kruseman is using it as part of his logo for his new shop (Olde Line Tattoo) and anyone that is part of that "family" is being "given" them!
Look at the "I" you can still see it!

Well....I grew up in a white, working class (mostly poor white) area.....and had a pachuco cross tattooed on my left index finger when I was 15 with needle & thread.....and it has been pretty fun over the last 30 years to here what different people thought it stood for! It even prevented me from moving into a management position 20 years ago....ha ha ha
People are silly....they think they know you by what you have tattooed on you!
If I was in the russian mob or yakuza.....I would totally understand!
But I am a white girl from Maryland....lmao

Thank you Bunny - I was flattered that Dave added me. I'll certainly let you know if I do plan a trip East--- if I do it will probably be a visit to Jacksonville to Inksmith & Rogers. I'll keep you posted- save a little space (;
And if you do....then I will have to come down if possible and add Eric Inksmith, Mike Willson & J.j. Dunbar tattoo's to my collection along with your tattoo! ;)

Slowly chipping away?, I think you're hitting it with jackhammer speed!haha----Jk but you do seem to be collecting some fun and terrific tattoos every time I see a post of yours(;
And most of all Deb.....I have met some of the most wonderful people....and heard the most wonderful stories from them!
The memories are irreplaceable!!!

Yeah Deb.....I am doing what I can....and you know that for a fact......ha ha ha!
I thought I blew it when I didn't get Tony Polito last year BUT I was given a very rare chance to add a tattoo by him and I jumped all over it!
I should have gotten Steve Delgatto.....but I dropped the ball......it's in the works though!
I need to make a trip down the VA Beach area to add a little something from Scott Sterling as well!
And a trip up to Philly in the next few weeks to get something if I can from Jerry "Reds"
I am gonna be a busy Bunny!
Deb.....you really need to plan a trip to the East Coast sometime soon.....you know your name is on my list!!! ;)

Not sure where Sailor Eddie (Jr) might fall into the mix here (Bonnie & Clyde's Tattoo) in Philly....but he has been tattooing 40/41 years and just celebrated his 49th Bday!
He has become a good friend of mine (like a brother) and this is a guy who learned to shave an arm with a straight razor when he was 5 years old, cut acetates when he was 8 years old, and sat and colored in flash with his Grandmother and Paul Rogers as a kid!
It's amazing to sit down in the shop with him and look though the family photo albums he has!
I think I am heading up tomorrow to see him in fact....since the weather is gonna really nice!

DeVita.
Is he still tattooing?
Someone told me he was living outside NYC up north somewhere but they didn't know
if he was still tattooing or not!

Awesome thread!!!
Dave Gibson gave me a list about 7 years ago of tattooers he would suggest I get tattooed by!
I asked for guys and gals with 40 years in or close to it and I have slowly been chipping away at his list ever since!

Update on my son......he is now 22 years old and before he deployed to the Middle east this past December he came home for his leave! The tattoo had to be reworked some as he has grown and added a lot of muscle so his back has grown a lot since he was 15/16!
Anyway....Brady Duncan re-worked the original concept my son had started with....and Brady finished my sons tattoo!
3 to 4 hours on his back and a big piece....Brady works fast.....but my son took it and left for deployment with an awesome tattoo on his back!
I am just proud because he finished something he had started!
Can i also say this......the concept of the tattoo did change so i think just based on that, that you should be of legal age to be tattooed! What you want at 15/16 probably is not gonna be what you want 5 years later!
I could be totally wrong....but it's how i feel now!
;)

Probably should have saved this one for your neck. It is sort of a Dan Higgs meets Dave Lum type deal. I love it.
not getting a Higgs tattoo was definitely one think i have been regretting but I also regretted not getting something for Tony Polito before he stopped tattooing in Brooklyn!
At least I was able to right that wrong this past friday by getting something from Tony! It was an awesome day getting tattooed by those three guys!
I am thinking about heading back up to Philly tomorrow just to hang with some people I didn't get a chance too on Friday......not sure if I will add another one or not!
I guess we shall see.....ha ha ha ha

Also picked up one each from Tony Polito & Ronnie Dell'Aquila

You know you like my dick!
Got tattooed yesterday at the Philly Convention by Henk Schiffmacher and how fitting is it that he was #69 tattoo artist to tattoo me?
