Hey everyone,
I'm trying to decide on which tattoo I should think about next.
I'm torn between a pin up girl on the top of my left arm, right below my dream catcher on the same arm, or a koi turning into a dragon on the right arm.
The right arm would require multiple sittings, which I'm ok with or one sitting for the other arm.
Both would be color and am wondering thoughts on color right next to a black and grey tattoo.
If I did this right this is a general idea of the koi/dragon I'm looking at getting but letting the tattoo artist add his own style to it, since I like his tattoos.
The right arm would go from my wrist to my shoulder.
Just want to know other people's thoughts.

Idk, it's totally your decision but I would go to a different shop to get it touched up/reworked. Yeah, te artist that did it will touch it up for free, but getting a quality tattoo should never be about money. And like @David Flores said there's something wrong with the shop, artist, etc. Considering your tattoo is infected. IMO, every one recommending you "don't go back" includes getting a touch up. Just my $0.02.

irezumi: Dan's going to call me this Thursday. Saw spencer at that shop today and showed him my latest tattoo and he even agreed that I was over worked and that I have an infection there now and I'll be checking them out for my next tattoos and from there deciding on who will be doing the rest of my tattoos from now. Thanks for the suggestion, if you know give me your name and I'll let him know you sent me!

what others think is their problem, not yours. me personally don't give a flying f**k what others think of any of my tattoos anyway...but thats me...

I think that it would be worth your while to explore more than one or two shops in the area; I strongly recommend Dan Lowell @7th st for a Japanese style sleeve. He has a lot of experience with that subject matter and has been tattooing for more than a dogs age. Hrs also a really down to earth dude, super nice guy. A sleeve is such a huge powerful tattoo that I would go with one of the most qualified in your area.
If you're already committed to this artist I can understand that but it wouldn't hurt just to drive over and look at his work if nothing else just to meet artists from all over your town. Skip the web page and just go in.

I've only had one serious relationshit in my young life. When we started dating, I had two tattoos. I have one that is placed on top of my shoulder, and some times it peeks out of a t shirt collar. Every time this happened, she had to change her underwear. That was awesome. However, she also insisted that I didn't get anymore tattoos. Maybe this is because I made the mistake of bringing her to an appointment? Long story short, about a year into the relationshit, we pulled a Ross and Rachel and "took a break". I came back to school after Christmas break with a new tattoo. She saw it and started crying, while yelling at me for not telling her. This was the moment that I discovered that no boobies are worth not being "allowed" to get tattooed. As far as dating someone goes, I'm super attracted to tattooed women, but I'm a man, so in the end, a beautiful woman is beautiful inked or not. I just need to be able to do whatever the hell I want to do with my own skin.

Are people assuming it would look weird because you would be combining a horror tattoo with a saint? because if so, you could always search for Hell fire imagery, or demons, judgment day, the crusades, Salem witch burnings or Satan himself and keep it Christian.
