  1. Living, in general, has been a pretty shitty thing to do for the last week. Seems like I've had "asshole" stamped on my forehead in my sleep or something. Either I'll rip off someone's head soon, or get over it and things will improve. We'll see.
  2. Sorry if this is massively inappropriate, but I've worked way too much construction to not get a chuckle out of this one
  3. I think it can also depend on how spread out they are. A person with tattoos spread all over tends to look more heavily covered (to me atleast) than someone with the same square footage, but placed solely on, say, the back. Or both arms. But I consider "heavily" as anything over approximate 50% or so. Way above the average person
  4. I agree, not a big deal if properly discussed (just like any other significant design changes would be) Also read the Instagram comments, that last one is actually a self portrait of the tattooer apparently. Seems like a strange tattoo to request, but makes the signature even more fitting I guess
  5. I have a tudor rose style one, without being exactly true to the original design, and love it. It just fits absolutely perfectly as an elbow cap, and doesn't ever really distort because of the circular design. I'm also thinking a chrysanthemum (sp?) Of the top view variety could be really cool, and work well, for the same reasons
  6. I think rosesnin general, tudor roses specially, make awesome elbow caps. I think I like them because they look right, no matter what position your arm is in, whereas some designs look distorted unless your arm is in the correct position
  7. Can I test them??? Please please please! I've got TONS of friends that will let me test on them. Free tattyz in mah kitchen this weekend!!
  8. I looked through that site when I watched On The Shoulders the first time, decided to stop looking cause if I buy everything I saw that I wanted, then I couldn't afford tattoos... kind of a catch 22
  9. Welcome. Your English is better than most natural born english speakers, by the way!
  10. It will. Your replies make it seem like you're hoping someone has a trick, or secret ink that will stay black and last forever. It won't. No amount of asking, re-phrasing, and re-asking will change that. It just won't happen. Ever. Give up on tattoos now. What you're after doesn't exist, no matter how bad you want it to. I wish I could eat everything I want, never exercise, and not get fat. That won't happen. Asking strangers on the internet how to make that happen, and then not accepting "it won't work" as a correct answer, doesn't make it any more possible.
  11. Agree. A full eagle would be waaaay cooler than just the wings. Chest eagles are always awesome. Always.
  12. This looks rad as hell. A lot of bands I'm not interested in, but also atleast a dozen I'd love to see. Im definitely gonna make this happen this year. Went last year, and on the last day, when all the bands I really wanted to see were playing, it started storming and we were told to leave (this was right after the really bad flooding in denver last year) Turns out they all came back on and played short sets after the storm, but we were already too far out to make it back.
  13. I think they're referring to acetate stencils, and whether ir not the henna would still work as intended when applied over a stencil. Atleast that's how I interpreted it. Can't help though as im not a tattoer
  14. A. That puppy is adorable, has the sweetest eyes. B. My dog's named Ella too! Good choice.
  15. I realize this is a day late, and for that I apologize, but I felt some of you would appreciate it.
  16. Books bound in human skin was actually what started the conversation and subsequent internet search (yea, we used our time well in high school) that led to the human leather product website. Your backpeice bound tattoo photo album idea is next level though. Good call!
  17. There's a company that you can sign your body away to, and after you die they use your skin to make leather products. I believe they then pay your family a bunch of money. Apparently, human leather makes the best products; our skin is so soft and such small pores, it makes incredibly soft leather. My first thought was a wallet, with one of my distinct tattoos on it, for my son (if I had one). Be a little creepy, but it's whatever. Found the site a few years back, not 100% sure its still a thing, but they made everything. Briefcases, shoes, belts, you name it.
  18. Saw that as well @SeeSea The dog's face got me as well. Started a train of thought and research, starting a decision as to whether or not I'm at point in life where I can adopt a new companion. I would love to, but have to be sure it'll be feasible first. One of the things that I miss most about living with my parents, is that my life/lifestyle is too random and unstable for it to be responsible for me to get a dog. Hopefully that'll soon change!
  19. His work looks good to me, nice and solid and bold. I'd wear something from him proudly, like the panther head a ways down, or the DK vs. Mario right below it. Those two are damn cool.
