@CABS Yeah,she did come off as real laid back,and not very talkative.but I thought at least Troy didn't interrupt her and let her answer his questions.Troy had a better rapport with the other girls,but I think he's got ADHD and he can't help himself and interrupt's when their trying to answer his question.I think he should have Garver do the interviews.He seems to be more laid back,and he's probably a better listener.

Listened to the first episode,and the Garver interview was the best part.Yesterday I listened to episode 4 bad women tough tattoos.My only gripe is that Troy will ask the person a question,they will start to answer,and he will interject,and answer the question himself.Its like dude,just let the people answer the question themselves.The part where he's interviewing Tamez,& Elwood,there was a lot of that.and then the interview was over,and it was like I wanted to learn more from them.The interview with Mina was better because he didn't interject as much.

I think my first post came off as me being kind of pompous.I may be that way a little bit,because I care about tattoos a lot,and I think I just don't respect people who don't make the effort to get a decent tattoo.My first tattoos were done in the earl 90's at a biker shop,and the quality wasn't that good.but they were really the only shops around in those days in my area.After I got a couple tattoos at the biker shop,I started to buy magazines,and then go search out other shops all over NJ,NY,PA,& MD.I was meeting all these good tattooers,and it was expanding my horizons on what really good tattoos look like.I just don't understand with all the good tattooers working today,that anybody should get a bad tattoo.I think some people just don't respect the trade enough to want to spend any money to get a good tattoo.I ask a lot of people where they get their work,and a lot of them say my cousin,or their friend did it in his house.You don't have to go to an elite shop in NYC to get really good work.I live in Jersey,and there may not be as many good tattooers as there are in the city,but the prices are more reasonable,and the quality of the work is good.

Yeah,I'm guilty as charged of doing that.I don't want to judge someone because of their bad tattoo,but the ego tends to come out when I'm talking with someone who has a poorly done tattoo,or who doesn't know as much as me about tattoos.I think it's great to collect tattoos from the old timers even though the quality of the work may not be as good.Mike Perfetto is the only old timer who has tattooed me,but he actually does solid work,so the tattoo looks great.But there's been times at conventions where I wanted to get tattooed by an old timer,but i didn't because their work wasn't that good.

Alex does real nice work,but I think his color work is better than his b&g work.If you want it in b&g Matt @ kings Ave Tattoo does very nice b&g work,and he just started working there,so he's probably not booked up that long. Instagram
