  1. Everyone is talking about the dogfish beers havnt tried them myself.

I love oskar blues I believe every beer they can is liquid gold.

They must be good. All Dogfish beers are sold out on the site I get my US beers from.

  2. Reminds me of something that happened to me last year. I'd been to the London Tattoo Convention and on our way back to the train station thought I'd pop into a pub for a couple of pints. Anyway my wife walked in before me and as I went to walk in a doorman stepped in front of me and said I couldn't come in. I called out my wife and said I'm not allowed in. My wife then said to the doorman that she has a long sleeved shirt I could put on. Realising I was with a female partner the doorman then said "Its ok pal you can go in".

The doorman had me down as an undesirable due to my appearance and the fact I was a single male. Did I make a big fuss. No.

This was mainly down to the fact that this gorilla was twice my size, half my age and would have kicked the shit out of me.

  3. Side note, the first time I drank whiskey, I was 14 or 15 and got served in a little bar in a small Pennsylvania coal town. If at 14/15, I got served and I've been drinking whisk(e)y ever since, you can imagine what a haggard bastard I am at 33. Ha.

The first time I drank whiskey I was about 15. It was Christmas eve my parents were at a party and I was at my house with my new girlfriend and her friend.

I thought I would impress them by drinking half a bottle of VAT 69, straight down in one go. Half an hour later I was completely off my head and had to be put to bed. A while later I woke up feeling pretty bad. I puked into a bowl that had been left by the bed and then tipped it all over me. I just went back to sleep and when I woke up my hair was all matted with dried puke.

My hair looked like one of those guys from "Flock of Seagulls". I never touched a drop of Scotch for about 10 years after that.

  4. @Reyeslv Everything apart from the trip to the Big Apple is booked. Alex Binnie is a bit of a legend over here. Hes been tattooing for over 20 years and is the owner of Into You, in London.

On the subject of New York I have to say this thread is cracking me up.
