@Iwar I don't really know, I've got so used to picking things spur of the moment. He was going to do a Mahakala on my calf a while back but it didn't work out, so maybe that.

Thanks everyone, obviously I couldn't be happier.
Another amazing afternoon, this time Stewart and Valerie were both pretty excited about a Garver girl's head with a blade through her face on a guy Stewart was tattooing - super cool looking thing and (I think) 8 years old; Valerie showed me a picture of it in one of her books and that thing looks as good now as it did then - really cool!

I've been waiting to get tattooed by Xam for a long time now, pretty sure I'm getting towards the top of his list - excited about getting a skull and snake from him.

Anyone got a recommendation for a shop in Copenhagen that does good traditional work and take walk ins? I'm going there in a couple of weeks and would like to pick up a holiday souvenir while I'm there if possible...

@Kev I got my knee done because I know what I want on them and want to fit stuff around them rather than leaving them and being influenced by what fits at the time.
I feel a bit differently about elbows, they're just a bit of a shit spot for anything I think - that skin's all shit and wrinkly anyway, at least with a knee there's some proper flat-ish surface area.

One of the last spots I'll consider having done. Apart from anything else, it's a tiny space so doesn't really lend itself to the kind of tattoos I'm interested in getting at the moment, and even once I have all the big bits done there'll be plenty of more interesting little spots for filler.
It does seem to be the spot of choice for a lot of girls first tattoo - I guess because it's kind of visible but easily hidden.

@bulldog that's a great tattoo!

God, I'm fucking dreading getting all this stuff done - but if my plan to get the big bits out of the way before kids and stuff get in the way, then I suppose it's not far off. EUGH - I fucking hate getting tattooed, particularly as I have all the 'difficult' stuff to do.
I really want to get Valerie to do my back, so I suppose it's at least some way off...

Thanks everyone, I'm really chuffed with it. It's kind of weird, I was out last night and a couple of times people came up and were like 'you're the guy with that eagle by Valerie' - Instagram and the internet is crazy like that.
Also, maybe it's just where it is, but it's healing up really well. My other tattoos have tended to scab up quite a lot, they come out fine in the end, but this one really hasn't very much - I bought some Dr. Bronner's liquid soap to clean it up with, recommended by Valerie, and haven't really done anything else to it.

Great time getting tattooed by Valerie yesterday. It really comes through how much she and Stewart care about what they're doing. Weird moment recognising the guy from Stewart's blog with the Saga/Reinke sleeves - those are some awesome looking tattoos (sorry if I'm being weird again and you're reading this, ha!).

Finally snagged a cancellation with Valerie Vargas for tomorrow, super super stoked. Getting an eagle on my arm (I had kind promised myself no more for a couple of months, but the twitter alert came through and I couldn't resist).
