  1. So...I made the mistake of buying GTA:V, now I am hooked! Who else is playing? Also I made a "Crew" if anyone wants to join for when GTA: Online comes up on Oct 1st. The crew is called "The Last Sparrows" if anyone wants to join
  2. Actually I was referring to people actually putting up pictures of themselves.
  3. I could say that for 95% of the people I listen to, I would not want to get tattooed by the same people. It seems that the hardcore band people have some nice tattoos though.
  4. I don't really get the question. Do you mean "tattoo artists that a musician recommended?
  5. ^^ This...worse feeling ever! My ritual is serious now, as I have worked out the "kinks" that can ruin my day (well more than getting my knee drilled with a needle for a few hours haha). Shit, shower, shave, as close to the time before me leaving as possible. Fill my two nalgene 1L bottles with ice and water, begin hydration. Start the long drive into NYC, and park in the same parking deck (no need for street parking tickets, assholes want $150 a pop). Walk to burger joint, get massive burger and fries. Go to favorite bar. At bar immediately bartender(s) ask me what I am getting worked on today. Drink 2-3 tasty beers. Walk to shop, smoke a cig on the way. Use bathroom before because nobody likes to stop mid-tattoo. Afterwards, get in car light up a premium cigar (currently working on a case of Rocky Patel Vintage 1992s). After I get home shower forever then get a nice scotch and look at new tattoo. Literally nothing ever changes, and it works out perfect. Also not drinking any alcohol the day prior makes a massive difference!
  6. Yea I since I've seen Mike Adams' work, I always thought that a little filler tattoo in that style would be fun. Interesting to see others see that too. Yea, before I got on these forums I always knew that as stippling. Hell the only reason I remember that is because I always thought the world sounded funny when I heard my mom (artist) say it.
  7. I've seen someone not nearly that bad but pretty damn bad get tattooed. I could see how this is not staged at all.
  8. I am going to try and get a quick one shot "Friday 13th" tattoo...tomorrow, because I ran out of time today. Damn, why do I always miss Friday 13th!!
  9. I just tell em where I got them and leave it at that.
  10. Anyone getting a Friday 13th tattoo today, if so post em up!
  11. Here's the best picture I could find of myself not just singled out on a single tattoo.
  12. I forgot about those. I haven't signed one since I got my first tattoo. Also working with hospitals in the past, I assume everyone is a walking cesspool/addict, so I get that logic.
  13. My tattooer and I talking about this a while back. We both agreed that it would be badass to be that old dude covered in tattoos. Old tattooed dudes always got some good stories.
  14. I always did wonder if people with any kind of disease mentions it to the tattooer. I suspect not.
  15. A old friend of mine got a bass clef and a greek letter on either side of his head behind his ear. While not in your face it is very very noticeable and has hindered job opportunities (engineer). If you want to be able to hide your tattoos, stick to anything below the collar and above the hands.
  16. I just stick to shops that are clean, and employe top-notch artists so I know that not only is the tattoo going to come out awesome but they also know what they are doing. In my mind I trust a good tattooer because they wouldn't want their work getting infected and looking like absolute shit. The one thing I've been picking up over the last few years is in tattooing, reputation means a lot. If you got a string of infected people, chances are the news will circulate quickly.
  17. Damn @ironchef, you're the man! I also like the idea that @gougetheeys said, of swinging by a local place for drink. Really awesome of you to think about the mods.
  18. What codes are you throwing? Also this is one of the reasons I stick to old bikes
  19. As with most fun things in my life, they are ruined by work. I'm going to be in DC during this time and had to return my plane ticket. Womp womp.
