Maybe I've decided to fight this battle and let other other battles pass. I keep hearing the word "compromise" being thrown around when describing relationships. Those that have never had to compromise are the lucky ones. I've compromised in so many other ways it's ridiculous. I don't feel that I "deserve" to have tattoos because of my compromises. I feel that it's a harmless way to express myself. My wife sees otherwise.

I am here in CA for a seminar/conference (which ended on Friday.) I've been out here two years in a row around this time, don't know if I'll be coming out again next year for the same seminar/conference. My convalescing includes mourning my lack of monmon cat.

@MarkBee - that makes me feel slightly better (that this has happened to others before.) Been so spent from work and then the conference, that getting sick seemed inevitable.

Welcome, sounds rad. Check out Michael Aul's work. He works up in Michigan but seems he's on the road sometimes. At least for some inspiration.. love that guy's tattoos and paintings!

Asshole behaviour can come from both sexes. We just had a visitor over who looked at my fresh, healing tattoo AND SLAPPED IT. I was so shocked I just kind of sat there... in pain.

If you're a man who wears shorts, then -- hands-down -- the most difficult places to heal are the front and inside of your shins. Why? 'cuz when you pee -- toilet or urinal -- it splashes up onto those areas and ends-up causing infection. Ask the man who owns one.
