Fantastic thread just on quick observation why do certain types of tattoo magazines insist on only putting young girls wearing very little on the cover, often the cover models seem to have relatively few tattoos as well.Im sure there are lots of men with fantastic work as well as older women it would be nice to see some people like this on magazine covers.

Got back a few hours ago after the final session on my back piece with Stewart. He was kind enough to put it up on instagram:

I'm stoked. By far my favourite tattoo and incredible that it was done in 15 hours. I now have the fun of healing two leg tattoos and my back at the same time. I'm a very happy man :D

Friday the 13th tattoo. Tattooed by Alex Binnie at Into You, London. The tattoo is based on my first professional tattoo.
Rather than get an exact copy I just let Alex do his thing with it, which is exactly what I wanted. Alex has been tattooing since the late 1980's and it was a real treat & honor to get something from him.

Started on my ribs yesterday. Tattooed by Lucy Pryor at Into You Tattoo, London. Heres a couple of pics, one taken during a short break (sorry about the quality).
Can't wait till July, the next session.

I found this pretty interesting publication on gang tattoos and their meanings so I thought I'd share it for those of you who are interested in that sort of stuff.
Lots of photos in it, some of them actually made me think I should start this thread in the Worst tattoo EVER! section.

I heard on Thursday that he was in Dublin (in Tommy's Classic Ink) for one day only, and taking walk-ins. Took a half-day's leave from work and... Bob's your uncle...
This morning it's not that swollen, but it does appear to be weeping a fair bit - to do with the location, I guess?
While I was in the shop I met Ross Nagle and Jordan from Frith Street very briefly.

I think you were finishing up when I came in for my appointment with Stewart. If it was you it did indeed look absolutely lovely.
Got my leg piece finished up with Stewart Robson at Frith Street yesterday. It was my first tattoo and I'm ridiculously pleased. Already saving up for the next one! I'd echo the thanks as well, they made my first tattoo experience really as good as it could have been.

I think this is more or less healed up. Bit of a rubbish photo but I'm only using the Mac. Got to get a proper pic later to forward onto Ching.
The last session (face and headpiece) has settled down and blended in with the rest. And yes, I really am this pale.
Over the rest of the year I am looking at a couple of smaller traditional pieces on my right leg, and then sometime towards the end of the year I am going to try and sleeve the rest of my right arm with Ching - got a design planned out already.
