  1. That range looks pretty good with a ton of guns to rent if needed. I have many handguns and belong to a local indoor range (located right next to ESPN studios) here in CT that I wish allowed shotguns like the one you linked to. What do you shoot?

    Fuck man, I live in NYC, all we're allowed to shoot here are dirty looks. I mean I grew up in Florida so I got my first gun when I was about 10, it was a mossberg bolt action 4-10 shotgun, wish I still had it. Haven't shot anything in probably 13+ years though. Last thing I think I shot was my buddy's Remington 7mm magnum Elk hunting rifle, thing was basically a missile launcher.

  2. Hahah Bobby is a good kid. I'm having the best time, everyone has made me feel so at home, Tom is such a great dude, Rich is hilarious, shop is busy, Couldn't ask for more! Not to mention Binky has been nice enough to let me crash in his loft amidst the incredible Higgs murals. Seriously I'm so honored to be here, humbled by my surroundings, and simultaneously feeling some great brotherly and positive vibes. Life is good in Bradley Beach!

  3. I'm sure this has already been mentioned in the thread but HOLY SHIT i CANNOT WAIT for the monacled bowler hatted curly-mustachioed Tea-Drinking manhead tattoo to go away. I hope every dude or girl that gets one of those feels 10 time stupider in 10 years than anyone sporting desert chrome does now! What would possibly compel someone to get that shit tattooed on them I will never know. "Check out my tattoo of an imaginary, uptight, fey, rich guy who may, or may not have been an extra in the film Wild Wild West."

    ugh.

    WORST.

  4. Man so this is is more a story about a story, but a few years ago I worked with my buddy Dave, who has been in the game FOREVER. Anyway LST's own Pat (gougetheeyes) and I were at the shop having a conversation along the lines of this thread, laughing about people passing out/shitting themselves etc. when from the back of the shop where Dave was drawing I hear him chime in;

    "had somebody die once"

    uh... EXCUSE ME!?

    "Yeah a girl, she died."

    He's shuffled over and started in like it was a cross between a campfire ghost story and the monologue from Jaws.

    "It was back in the 90's, Hawaii, 94 maybe? Anyway, crazy production shop sailors would come in, you'd work 12-15 hour shifts, go upstairs, sleep a few hours come back down, do it again. Make all your money for the next 6 months in 3 weeks. Anyways, it was one of those stretches I'd been going for hours, next tattoo was a girl, wanted a flower. She went into the bathroom, came out, and as she was walking to my chair she hit the floor. Dropped fucking dead. Paramedics came but she was blue, shot up in the bathroom before the tattoo, killed her. Fucked me up for a good bit. Good thing she didn't make it into my chair before she died, I probably woulda quit tattooing."

    Pat and I were in awe, and just like that Dave went back to his drawing. I don't think anyone said another word for about an hour.

  5. Hey Folks! Just a quick post to let y’all know I will be working at Electric Tattoo in Bradley Beach NJ October 21st, 22nd, and the 27th-29th. I am incredibly flattered I was asked, and I’m very excited to go out there and work in a legendary East Coast shop run by some folks I’ve looked up to for a VERY long time! If you are in the area and would like to get tattooed please stop by, or email me at [email protected]. Thanks!
