  1. Tattoos take 4 - 8 weeks to heal. No matter how you ask the question, or what you ask, you won't know what it is going to look like until then. I'd give it another month. And no, that's not an ink allergy. Actually ink allergies are very rare.
  2. This is why it pays to do your research BEFORE you get your tattoo. If you don't know what makes a good (or bad) tattoo, it doesn't matter how much research you do. I'd find someone who is good with coverups and see if they can fix it BEFORE you do anything else. I've seen a lot of tattoos made worse because people were in a hurry to get rid of them. Fixing a tattoo isn't quick, easy or cheap.
  3. That’s a different question. I agree, that’s pretty bad.I wouldn’t let them work on me again. Didn’t you see examples of their work before you went to them?
  4. Relax. Tattoos take 4-8 weeks to heal so you won't know until then. And if it is a blow out, there's nothing you can do anyway!
  5. Don’t get one. There is no going back to your original skin. Lasering a tattoo off only does so much. It will NEVER look the same again.
  6. Irrelevant? Maybe if you'd asked the "irrelevant" Americans for opinions BEFORE you got tattooed, you would have avoided that atrocity. We can still look at a portfolio and tell you why we think it's good or bad. You're going on my ignore list, you're just a nut job.
  7. No. After 3 days you can't tell ANYTHING. A tattoo takes 4-6 weeks to heal. Look at it then.
  8. Maybe if you hang around for 10 years and see the 10,000th thread on blowouts, you'll be a little more understanding. 😉

+1 If your dick looks like that, get to a doctor immediately!
  10. Part of getting a tattoo is understanding that your body changes. If you work hard enough to get bigger do you think you'll be bigger forever? Our bodies age, our priorities change and suddenly we don't have the time or motivation to spend 2 hours a day in the gym. We spend a lot of time worrying about things that never come to pass.
  11. And if it's blown out, what do you think you can do about it? You can't suck the ink back out. 😉

You’re seeing things. Enjoy your tattoo and stop overthinking it.
  13. Thin, delicate, precise lines on thin delicate skin - incredibly hard. If you don't get someone exceptional, it's going to be a hot mess.
  14. This is not a site for scratchers. Read the rules.
  15. Quality tattoos aren’t cheap. He’s learning on you. I wouldn’t let him near me. If you use him again, expect more of the same.
  16. It takes 6-8 weeks to heal. You’ll know then, regardless of how many times you ask or how you word the question. Having said that, thin delicate skin, like where you got your tattoo, is most prone to blowouts and thin lines make them the most obvious. There is nothing you can do except cover them up if it really bothers you. It’s been asked dozens of times.
  17. I'm not sure why you keep defending that hack. They are really, really bad. It's important to be able to recognize a good artist from a bad artist. There's no nice way to say it, they suck. There are a lot of things wrong with that tattoo and the font is the LEAST of the problems.
  18. Yea, I meant panther. That's why you need a consult with a competent tattoo artist. It would be a big one and probably take some time to figure out how to place it.
  19. Don't trade one mess for another. I think you run the risk of making a bad situation worse. I'd live with it for now, but if you HAVE to do something, what about a leopard?
  20. Just don’t. The world has enough shitty tattoos from people that don’t know what they are doing.
  21. Nice. Don't monkey with it, just get more tattoos.
  22. "A little" is very subjective. In my opinion, if you you do that, the other parts of the tattoo will then look too light. I think it would be extremely difficult to do that uniformly.
