  1. welcome to LST! if you like the original artist's work on your bowie and what he's done with your feather so far, i'd seek him out. easy as that. as you mentioned, the shop already suggested that as an option and they should completely understand. as far as loyalty goes.. the owner originally sketched the feather, but did the tattooer use that exact sketch or did he do his own thing? i feel like that's the only value added step in the process you've mentioned. even still, the owner passed you to the other tattooer, so loyalty doesn't seem to be an issue from that standpoint. what's up with some pictures?! :)
  2. has anyone caught where he said he was gonna "settle down"?
  3. looking forward to it! awesome tattoos so far. welcome!
  4. for someone not known for his Japanese work, he seemed to do a pretty fine job on the upper half.
  5. If you're watching it in the Machete Order, it's going to a get a bit worse before it gets better. You also have to realize a couple things... 1) it was made in the late 70s/ early 80s 2) they make it simple enough a child could love it that said, the acting isn't great. it's more of a plot and effects driven adventure.
  6. saw this print that ed's doing for honolulu printmakers. $85 (+$20 s/h). limited edition of 75... hopefully not sold out yet! 2016 Gift Print
  7. welcome to LST! how about some photos?
  8. old classic... just thought of the ass synonym "fanny".
  9. finally... a thread i can get behind. ;) i don't have anything there yet, but chad discussed the possibility of extending my back piece down. my wife is strictly against the idea, but then again, she wants me to slow down on getting tattoos in general. i have the same sentiment as expressed above by @<a href="http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/member.php?u=54750" target="_blank">The Tig</a> ... i have a lot of skin to cover before "doing da butt" (song below, for your pleasure)... less painful and more prominent spots take priority, at this point. speaking of mr. koeplinger, one of my favorite uses of the ass in a tattoo is the kali he did... photos below.
  10. check out this thread... http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/tattoo-advice/1561-white-ink.html
  11. c'mon, @bongsau it was an Olde English "D" on your forearm, right?! @kirstenthecat12 ... sounds like it's time to start thinking of a new, different tattoo!!
  12. i agree with @marley mission . no matter what you add, you'll likely still have to explain it. the only thing i can think of is a little lightning bolt. still... it wont' be self explanatory at all.
  13. two thoughts - do you have any tattoos on the other side of your arm? if you add background now, you may not have ample space to add. - do you have any other color tattoos or plans for the rest of the tattoos on your body? there are lots of folks who are advocates of staying black and gray.

  16. whenever i visit the fam up in WA, i get to spend some time with this little beggar/booger. his name's Rusty and he's a Jack Russell mixed with something (check out his length!). super smart and energetic. in the 2nd photo, he's begging from my mom (the main disher of table scraps), lookin at me like, "don't hate."
  17. nice! how did the midnight lion turn out on your buddy?
  18. looking real nice @spb420! mind if i ask about the mums on your arms? the left arm looks to have a thick outline and the right doesn't. but there's a drawing on the table above you that looks to be the right arm with the outline. is that something that's gonna be added?
  19. did a quick search and found this existing thread that i hadn't come across before: http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/crazy-tattoo-stories/1196-stick-pokes.html
