  1. I thought teddy boys was a england\uk thing, anyway that guy looks like a cock and is a rasist shit.
  2. he needs a real mans tattoo, snake and skull or something..... - - - Updated - - - ignorant style is just a disguise for being shit.
  3. i heal in about 10days but red takes me about a month, don't worry.
  4. Ha Ha... Well 16 years after you got your panther i got a spliff\joint what ever you call them in the US tattooed on my leg, that has since been covered by a panther too....
  5. I actually have just read the last ten pages, interesting debate. i do stand by the above and it was not directed at anyone here, was just my view from the title of the thread. The thing for me is the range of tattoo artist's is pretty wide, there are quality tattooist that are skilled at the craft and great artist and then there are tattooist like the one that put a great back rasied scar on my sister back, he owned a shop and was a "tattoo artist". I can understand the good artists who want the best for the industry and to protect it but surely its better if shop's puts out good work regardless of the owner. Also as a business owner who is now winding down my company and looking too invest in new i can choose anything i want do, if that was a tattoo shop then so be it. I am actually at the moment looking at investing the last of my companies money into art, not body art but the stuff you hang on walls. What do i know about art, fuck all, but my girlfriend has been managing an art gallery in west london for 5 years and when i look at there monthly turn over against overheads its something that really interests me..! Its not without risk, its the last of my money and at nearly 40 with no pension and a divorce that cost me a fortune i need it to pay off. If it doesn't then so be it but if it does i'm sure there be a few green eyes in that industry too. Thinking about it a tattoo shop is a lot let risky, i havn't got put 100k into stock..joke.! edit; #kinda contradicting my self here but what i have noticed in the tattoo industry is the top artists who have great big waiting lists when using simple supply and demand economics they should put there prices up but they don't, they just let the list grow or close it, i really respect that.
  6. I would say go for it. When I got my first tattoo(well in recent times) due to the excitement, adrenaline and nerves I hardly felt a thing. Although i have only done my arms and leg every tattoo thereafter has hurt more. Athough i love getting tattoos, healing them looking in the mirror etc I'm now at the point where I'm driving to frith street just thinking I'm not looking forward to this I wish it could be over. First tattoo excitment/nerves is a great pain killing drug.
  7. I have no problem with non tattooers open shops, business is business regardless of what you are selling. If someone wants to put time and money into business that makes them money then good luck to them. Personally I would rather a long term tattoo enthusiast open a shop than some young cock sure tattooist, looking locally 90% of tattooist shouldn't even be tattooing because they are shit, let alone running a shop.
  8. Is the spot on a skin crease from body movement? also assuming you are right handed, hence why its only the right rose. The only scab I have had from my last 8 tattoos was on my arm ditch from too much movement, I did keep it moist to stop it cracking and was carefull not to knock it off, it healed fine in the end. Nice roses btw.
  9. My arm always swells after laser. What I have learnt from my last two lasers sesions not all lasers feel the same. I,m going to a place that has all 3 lasers to hit each of the colours I have, two hurt and one hurts like fuck so it depends on what laser your being hit by. I have also started getting it lasered twice in one session "r20" I think it's called, he goes over the colors with the various lasers then hits the lot again, pretty aggressive and I blister but it heals fine.
  10. Panther on my leg by Stewart Robson last week, laser on my arm the day after and chest eagle next week, I must be a sucker for pain...
  11. Brick lane if you want a curry.
  12. @Dan S Panther head from the year I was born, that's as cool as fuck.
  13. Chest eagle from valerie vargas sat 15th, I'm looking forward to that, not...
  14. My boys would love me to have that Mario tattoo.... Welcome
  15. If you have favourite artist then you will like there work, hence that's why they are your favourite artist. I'm no artist but i am a draughtsman so i know how to draw, you can put the best artist's tattoo in front of me and if the lines are shakey and its not technically perfect then i wont like it, its all about personal taste. Anyway this monthly vote is just a bit of light hearted fun. - - - Updated - - - Well done Dumpleton looks like you pipped me at the post, last time i looked a week ago we was both the same. Nice front piece and a deserved winner.
  16. @Scott R Wow man how many cool tattoos you healing at the moment..!!!! So happy for you with regards to your new back piece and all the other cool tattoos you now have. I so need to go get another laser and a new tattoo next month.
  17. Cops? i thought it was only the robbers that had tattoos. How am i to distinguish now.
  18. Thanks for the answers @Mike Panic, but i meant how long to leave the last laser before covering the faded tattoo with a new tattoo, how long for the skin to settle to take the new ink?
  19. Thing is for every one good tattoo shop round my way there are 5 like this.

    Hello!

Hey Adam, Welcome Yea pictures would be great, i love looking at the tattoos that come out of frith street.
  22. @Mike Panic nice to have a laser guy posting here Couple of questions if you don't mind. Reason i hunted down a ruby is other laser operators have said its the only laser that will fade green and the wiki page i have read also confirms this. I have had 3 yag laser sessions on a 22year old already faded tattoo and the black has say 60% faded but the green, purple and blue has remained unchanged. But you say the yag can do all the colours? like i said above i can report back with experience of a ruby laser in 6 weeks time. What aftercare do you recomend? at the moment i have some pretty big blisters so i'm just leaving all alone and letting my body sort it out. On my second laser i blistered which has left some small marks i hope will fade over time. Also how long do you recomend between the last laser and the cover up? @Dan S i'm nearly there for a cover up but i'm now on a mission to fade them as much as possible so i have minimal compromise. I put no thought into the old tattoos i'm lasering, i was 16 and just wanted a tattoo, didnt really care what or how good they where...! If they wasn't on my forearm i would of covered them with a purple rose of something by now.
