I was quite disappointed, I thought the live portion would have been a trash talking free for all. Especially when they had that crazy "canvas" bitching at what's his face for that horrible sacred heart but alas, Navarro needed his tv time and cut it short.
Favourite part by far was when buddy with no tattoos said Oliver could tattoo him in a place he couldn't hide it if he could shave his hair and moustache. Oliver responded with "I don't think you deserve to be tattood."

5th session on my back by Victor Portugal. Did 7h 30m and my god did it hurt!!!
Tomorrow the bare bit in the middle. We won't be finishing the shell now till August as its far too sore :)

You've now added more input. Great, you don't want a cross. You don't want any of the traditional animals suggested. You do want a banner wrapped around something. You've now added another possible element: a sun. All these are ideas you had already, right (even though you didn't give us all of them at first). How about you let your artist know these exact ideas? I bet you he/she can draw a really nice banner wrapped around a sun that has colours and other elements that make it very clear that it's a sun.
Just because you don't like the ideas/suggestions you were given (at least, the reasonable ones. It is indeed taking lots of restrain not to just take the piss out of you), doesn't make them any less valid. We don't know what you have in mind. We can't see where you want this done, how big, or what else may be in the way (other tattoos, huge moles, horrendous car-crash scars, etc), or see what it looks like once laid out on you. All these things affect what you get. Not to mention, no one here is going to draw it for you. One person will. Perhaps you should consult with him/her. Well, lookie here, it just so happens you have a consultation scheduled with the artist. That'll come in handy.

I know stars or nautical ones on the knee are Russian prison inspired, I'd personally stay away from that. Webs are ok, and give the nice round design to fill it in. Any type of animal head works.

Pick an artist you like and go talk to them.........then save up the money you need to get done what you want done!
At least you won't be floored now when you find out you probably won't get it covered up for $200 and why consider building around a tattoo you already are thinking you want covered? Like I said....go talk with someone....you aren't wasting their time if you are serious about getting tattooed by them!
