  1. Used to have a whole slew of different weapons, everything from little hideout pistols, the Kel-Tec P3-AT is my favorite, to full-house .44 mags, to M14s, and everythign in-between.

They all got stolen in a break-in about a year ago, I swear!

My dad got about 11 different guns stolen from him about 20 years ago in a break-in. 9 have been found and returned over the years. Still holding out hope for the other two.

  2. Which 1911 do you got? I am still undecided which to get... Too many damn options!

    I have a Colt 1991

I dont hate AR's, I just done love them. My wife also likes the way a mini-14 feels in her hands and I think its a good higher cal plinker and can be used to hunt/protect. Id like a shot gun as well soon because I love shooting skeet etc etc. Mossy 500. Yes, .38spl is a great round. Easy to shot well and easy to get second shot on target quickly unlike a 357. I still think the 1911 is prob my favorite to shoot, but I shoot the .22 the most because they are cheap.

I love my Mini-14, although I don't get that much use out of it anymore. As far as shotguns go I love my beretta A391 Extrema 2. I have numerous different shotguns and that is the one I grab the most often. I recently just won a Winchester M70 special edition .300 wsm and can't wait to set itp up and use it.

  3. So, an advance purchase (internet) ticket round-trip on the Dog from Stockton to San Jose is $32 this weekend, adn that would put you by...

Horitaka, State of Grace Tattoo Shop

221 Jackson Street, San Jose, CA 95112

And it doesn't get much better than that.

Agreed. I will be there this weekend in order to finally start my backpiece with Jill. Due to some laser work, I have been waiting for over a year.

  4. Oh yeah! Niiiice! What are you getting? My Oda Nobunaga backpiece is by Jill as well. She's been shading background for a while now, packing in that black. I remember the outlining being unpleaseant as she moved from the small of my back down lower during 1 session, but when she outlined the actual cheek in a subsequent session I don't remember it being that bad. I mean it hurt, but not as bad as I thought it would. Shading didn't really bother me at all. I hope my words don't come back to bite me on the ass in future sessions Though (head smack! Thwap!!!) ;-)

I have seen your backpiece in pics. It is looking great. I am going with Kumonryu. I have a rather large space to fill (I'm a very big guy) so the rest I left up to her. I think there may be lightning because she made the comment during our consult "How do you feel about lightning?" I just told her to go to town. I can't wait to see what she comes up with.

  5. Hey there! Yes, I have to say, it's rare. Or at least, I don't know of the tattooed lawyers. Perhaps they're hiding them under their suits. I did hear that they published a book of tattooed criminal lawyers here, but the tattoos seemed.... Well. I'll let that go unfinished, as I'm in this legal community.

    Making the case for tattoos

No offense to them. It's awesome that they did that.

It's true, though. At least we had we 3 in our law school. I'm still really good friends with one of them from my law school.

As a tattooed lawyer I must say I have quite a few lawyer friends who are tattooed. That being said very few of them are heavily tattooed and all of them hide it under suits including me. Now back to the actual topic of this thread, my wife has two small tattoos and supports me and my efforts in becoming heavily tattooed. In fact recently she is becoming bit by the tattoo bug and is going to start a half sleeve at the SOG convention if the booking comes through.

  6. I do not know what to say in response to that. I am in awe just reading that craziness. I will say that without seeing the tattoo laser would be a good option, however I am not sure how well it would work for just taking a line out of a tattoo. You may be better off getting the entire outline removed and starting from scratch. Just be wary that after laser you have to wait at least three months to get a tattoo in the lasered spot.

  7. I just came across this thread. I'm taking the MSF course this weekend, i'm really excited. I am looking at used Honda Shadows in the 600cc range for my first bike.

I always wanted to ride...my ex-wife was so adamently against it I never seriously considered it...but then again, she was against a lot of fun stuff.

    :p

My first bike was a Honda Shadow. I have nothing bad to say about it. It was a great starter bike.

  8. I will second the sentiment about being excited about this thread. I am a former muay thai fighter. I have trained under John Hackleman/Chuck Liddell (fought out of The Pit for about three years), Ajarn Sangvone “Andy” Khensamphaph (former Muay Thai Champion), and brief stints at Fairtext in San Francisco in the early 2000's. (When Bunkerd, Ganyao, Jongsanan, Enn, and Alex Gong were there.) I have also dabbled in BJJ. Now (after family and being lazy) every once in a while I train with some friends that are professional muay thai fighters and a few others which are in the UFC.
