  1. Yeah I plan on completing a sleeve by the end of the year. I'm going in tomorrow, I decided on a simple eagle on my outer forearm, though I'm open to getting the aforementioned design on my inner forearm.
  2. I'd go for the forearm. With your military history, personally, I'd go with the "Death Before Dishonor" dagger. I've always loved that design, and think it looks great, but by all means get what you want.
  3. Problem solved.
  4. Dude trust me, sooner or later you'll stop worrying. We all do.
  5. Don't worry about it. In a few months, especially if you get some more tattoos, you'll be laughing about this.
  6. Oooohhhh yes. I couldn't stop staring at the flaws. Until one day, I just stopped caring about the imperfections and looked at the bigger picture, literally hahaha. Don't worry, you'll get there.
  7. Around a month. It didn't stop till I got some more. It did teach me to be more careful in the planning phase though.
  8. Same as you. Nervous, obsessed, pissed. But again, once it sank in that no tattoo is perfect (though some are certainly better than others) it stopped being an issue for me. Seriously, look up pictures of truly awful script tattoos and you'll see that yours is great!
  9. Ehh I'm not so sure. I was the same way (if not worse) with my first couple of tattoos, but after a while I realized that they're not MEANT to be perfect. Once I realized that and got a few more it completely stopped bothering me. Now I have 13 lol.
  10. Eh, I've always wanted to be the "cool" granddad anyway
  11. Hey everyone, I'm just looking for some advice on a good forearm tattoo. I already have a rock of ages on my right forearm that you might have seen and I'm trying to figure out what to get on the other arm. One design I particularly like is this classic sailor jerry pinup, but let me hear your ideas! EDIT: I've also though about getting some kind of dagger. What do you guys think?
  12. Hey everyone. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how tattoos with no black in them look after a few years. I know it's generally frowned upon, but if it's a darker color (blue for example) would it last? Something like the picture I attached. I have no intention of getting anything like this by the way, I'm just curious as to how they hold up long term.
  13. That's a nice bright green. Looks great man!
  14. Relax, trust me, no one'll notice that but you. It's a tattoo, not a drawing, they NEVER come out 100% perfect.
  15. Alright, here's the thing, you got the tattoo, and no, it's not going away completely even with laser. You have two options, you can cover it up with something else, which I don't think you want to do, or you can live with it. I recommend the latter. It's well done, well placed, and it looks good. I get your frustration, but actions have consequences. And trust me, it wont attract that much attention. Maybe it's because I live in an area where most people have tattoos, but believe me, they're not the first thing people notice about you. Good luck on whatever you decide to do.
