Physically no, they wouldn't be bad tattoos. But, couldn't the case be made that text really isn't meant to be a tattoo in the first place? I'm having trouble typing the point I am really trying to get at...just isn't working for me right now. I'll come back when I can figure out how to say it.

^seconded. To be fair, people actually tried to give sound advice to that fellow. He just didn't want to listen; which is completely fine. Just don't keep asking for advice and then pick only the things you want to hear.

Your best option will always be to visit a tattooer and talk to them about it. The internet is great for reference, but only reference. A good tattooer will take any idea or reference that you have and make it into a tattooable design that fits your body. Take the time and effort to go see a tattooer and it will be worth it. You get the tattoos you deserve... Meaning, if you only look online and then ask someone to tattoo exactly that, they will. You will get something that looks like it came from the internet.

I actually had some tears in my eyes a few times during this episode. I feel so honored to have even the tiniest fraction of a place in the tattoo world. Absolutely humbled.

By all means, if you want to add to your back, go ahead. If you really want a cool tattoo, I emplore you to explore the idea of getting something as a standalone piece somewhere else or going larger with the things on your back. You live in Boise right? I am sure there are some good tattooers out there that you could set up consultations with. Find someone who's work you like and talk to them. A competent tattooer will be able to help steer you in the direction that will get you a rad tattoo. Good luck and keep us posted.

Im sure your "tatted up" buddy has better knowledge than the person who tattooed you right? He would probably know more about how a tattoo heals than someone who actually tattoos. Seriously guy, the person with the answers you needed gave you the correct answer and because you didn't like the answer, you ignored it. When you only listen to the things you want to hear, you miss the things you need to hear.

Not anymore. Your tattoo will get destroyed....I promise. Wait as long as possible to put sunblock on it. And that saltwater is literally going to shred your tattoo. Depending on how you heal...it may not be healed by the time your trip comes around.

Always consult the person who did the tattoo for any healing related questions. Period. They applied the tattoo and will be able to answer any questions you have.

Anyone have experience with heeling the palm side of your fingers? How does that go?

I was not saying anything meant to be taken in a demeaning manner. I was making an observation that, in the short while I have seen you post here, that you always seem to actually make sense and take the time to form a complete and whole thought. I have never even been on Reddit. No idea what the heck it is...

Kore Flatmo. Incredible dude. Genuine. Smart. Funny. Bad Ass tattoos. Gives zero fucks about any kind of bullshit. Of course, my current in progress backpiece and leg mean I will be getting to see him a whole lot over the next several years.

The first three days is the most important. I use aquafore on day three twice and then complete dry heal from then on.
