Despite the received wisdom that it hurts less if you're not wearing pants, my experience so far has been that if the pants are off, you're in for some serious hurting.
Real talk - Things get rough when the artist takes that needle downtown. Oliver Peck needs to clarify his statements.

Great work so far this month. Glad to see some more progress @Diehardonvhs Diehard, you're going to be hitting that other cheek?
Thanks! Yeah, next session actually! I asked for it to be left blank until I had finished a piece by Jess Yen on the side of the thigh, but we have reached a point where we just have to get all the background done now, so hopefully next week we will get the other cheek and thigh finished (fingers crossed we have the time).

Progress on my skinny ass. Been a long break since last time due to the tattoo studio moving premises - Back to regular sessions now so hopefully some more updates coming! Looking to finish the whole thing by summer. The sessions never get any easier...

Hey guys quick question, I'm goin to be setting up an appointment soon to get my elbow done, getting a tradtional rose with a wolf in the middle , and I was wondering not sure how to word this but I've seen a few japanese style pictures where the wolf/tiger/what have you has a rope tied around it's head with like a skull on it? Really vague description. But if anyone knows what I'm talking about or have reference picture. That would be super helpful thanks!
That skull on the head with rope is from Kitsune reference - You can search Kitsune tattoos or Kitsune mythology and find some good stuff!

Love the two different color eyes and the split tail! Nice!!!
Thankyou, I asked specifically for the eyes to be like that, I love odd-eyed cats! The split tail comes from Japanese folklore, I've always loved the Nekomata especially, they supposedly are cats that were treated badly in life, and in death gain the powers of necromancy, murder and arson for their malevolent revenge. Bad kitties.

Nekomata Monmon Cat - By Horitomo, State Of Grace.
Done at the London tattoo convention 2014!

I call entire bullshit on the deep philosophical conversation with the clerk. Entirely made-up scenario to suit a very badly written narrative. What a load of arse.

Oh, the monmon cats are great! I love cats but hate that most pictures, drawings, tattoos etc just reduce them to being terribly cute. These are cool though!
Would it be unreasonable to hope for Horitomo to come to the London Tattoo Convention...?
He will be there this year! I'm booked in for a monmon cat, I can't wait!

@TheLance Absolutely fantastic!!!

Claudia is absolutely fantastic - Just going by my personal preference I would choose her every single time out of those options. Her work is everything I would look for in a good tattoo, and I will absolutely be getting tattooed by her at some point!

Welcome! Who is the artist??
-
Great suggestions thanks, I definitely need to vary my routines a bit sometimes, although I guess it's not bad to stick with the same exercises and get the form as good as I can, especially since I'm just really getting into it.
-
If you didn't want to back squat you could front squat etc.
That is GENIUS! Seriously, I am embarrassed I didn't think of that...I am still very much a beginner!
-
Give squats a miss if it's up on your upper back! I am in the same situation, healing my back while trying to maintain lifting progress - I haven't found any major problems after sessions on my back above the beltline (aside from squats), its when I'm healing the ass and back of thighs that I feel almost crippled - it cuts out a huge amount of exercises! This might not be the best advice, but I just hold off heavy lifting completely for five or six days, go for a couple of runs, then get back to it when I am healed up, maybe drop the weight a bit and carry on as normal!
-
Yeah, he's one handed - incredibly talented even with a pretty drastic disability!

Please ask yourself, do you have anything to offer to tattooing as a whole? Or do you just plan to make money and give nothing back?
-
I'm gonna arse up the RHW month combo with another Valerie Vargas piece!
Even though most people know this, both Valerie and Stewart are seriously awesome people. If I had infinite skin and infinite money I could very happily spend all day getting tattooed and listening to their stories!

Do you have multiple tattoos of the same design?
