  1. Welcome to LST @TigerBlue77 Great stuff! Who has done what?
  2. That's odd. Did you have 10+ posts under your belt when you posted this? There's a 10 post limit before you can start a thread on LST.
  3. Awesome news @Pugilist !! Super stoked for ya. What are you getting?
  4. Should we try to aim for the 19th then maybe? @hogg @a1steaks @cltattooing @ian @dcostello @slayer9019 @Reyeslv @MadeIndelible @chrisnoluck @tammy @steve1461686340
  5. So I bought some fundoshi's off of eBay a while back, thinking I might use them when I start my backpiece. In hindsight I should have known that only japanese men with bodysuits can pull those off. Pale norwegian guys, not so much. Had to cherish the moment with a picture though. I hope you all feel privileged! - - - Updated - - - Only thing I made my mind up about pretty early on was that I wanted to go big on my front and back. Other than that I'm just randomly filling it in with different styles of work from different tattooers I dig. I guess my thighs and feet match each other, but other than that I just pack'em in there. I absolutely love the look of japanese bodysuites though, but that's not for me. I like too much from both worlds. Now let's see the rest of you in your fundoshis! If you don't have any laying around, all you need is an old bedsheet and a pair of scissors, and voila.

    ahoy

PLEASE don't go back to the same "tattooer" for that. I noticed you're in Texas, so you should check out ROA in Austin. ROCK OF AGES TATTOO - AUSTIN, TEXAS - - - Updated - - - Or Elm Street Tattoo in Dallas http://www.elmstreettattoo.com/
  7. Ed Hardy and Ron Nagle Ed and Bob Roberts Interview with Don Ed Hardy and Phil Sparrow (Thanks for uploading @ShawnPorter)
  8. I don't think we have a thread dedicated to Ed Hardy, so let's use this one to share anything Ed related. If anyone deserves their own thread on here it's gotta be him, right? I spent my evening rewatching some old Hardy interviews, and I even found a couple new ones (to me at least). Here's a few of them. Joel Selvin chats with Ed Hardy about his life in tattoos at Book Soup in Hollywood Interview in conjunction with "the unruly art of Don Ed Hardy" exhibit that was displayed last year Part 1 Part 2 - - - Updated - - - I have more, but there's a 3 videos per post limit, so I'll have to wait untill someone else posts something in here.

    Hi

    Welcome to LST!
  10. Iwar

    Good evening

Welcome Phil! We'd love to see 'em.
  11. @gougetheeyes PRECIOUS!! Thanks for sharing those man. I thought you handled them both very politely. I on the other hand just got torn a new asshole by a good friend for telling his new girlfriend exactly what I thought of her "tribal cat with tiny footprints" tattoo idea. I'm usually very polite and careful not to offend in situasions like that, but I was way too drunk to sugercoat it at the time it was brought it up.
  12. Congrats on winning last month's contest @Dennis Your arm unreal!
  13. Nice! I'd love to go out for a drink with you guys. Would be a treat to get to see that Burk tiger in person.
  14. Welcome to Last Sparrow! Nice work.
  15. Thanks for all the recommendations @Avery Taylor !! I'll probably check out all of those before I leave. Hope you make it out to SF @slayer9019 !!
  16. @a1steaks Oh, cool! What are you getting? I'll keep you in the loop. @cltattooing Likewise! :) @Avery Taylor I'll be staying in Hollywood. Just a short stroll from Dark Horse Tattoo actually. @CultExciter Ha! @Wilhell and I have already talked about this as we're both huge fans of Brian's work. Maybe next year!

  18. As some of you might already know I'm heading out your way for some tat action in September, and I'd love to hang out with some fellow LSTers whilst visiting. The schedule so far is: 15-18 Los Angeles 18-22 San Francisco 22-27 Los Angeles I'll be hooking up with @ian for the San Francisco trip, and there's also been some talk about an official LST get together/3 year anniversary around that time, but that's still up in the air. Either way, it would be really cool to meet some of ya'll in person! Already looking forward to seeing @hogg and @dcostello again :) I have nothing planned when I return to Los Angeles, so tips on cool shit do do in LA is also welcome!
