So I finally got my zombie horse tattoo done! Pretty stoked about it! Took 4 and a half hours..now I have a question. I got it done Thursday, and it hasn't started to peel at all, is that weird? It's stabbed up but shows no attempts to peel. Both of my other tattoos started peeling by day 3.
Next session will be 7 hours, going to add another zombie creature to the inside of my calf and start a little background! Not sure on what zombie creature it will be,was thinking maybe a bucking longhorn..that or even maybe the headless horseman! Plus, I'll be putting canis lupus on my wrist too during that session just to knock it out of the way since it won't take long! It'll be on the 17th! Next session after that is on October 1st! Then mid October I'll be with a Bob Tyrrell to get my Raven done on my rib cage!

Okay....you seem to be getting good tattoos by solid artists........
BUT.......slow down!!!
I know.... "You won't give a shit what they look like when you are 50".....at least that's what I hear all the time.......but I promise you when you are 40 you will care! ;)
I just am trying to pass some important advice on to you and like a lot you probably aren't going to listen BUT tattoos do age and if you take care of them and yourself then they age well!
Just be smart please???
You are lucky.....most young ladies your age don't start off getting quality work!
You're heading in the right direction......just slow down.....and be smart babe!

Hey guys, new to the forum and don't have a tattoo yet. About to commit to my first one and I have just one question that I'd like to know beforehand. I'm planning on getting a half sleeve that goes up over my shoulder, covers part of my shoulder blade on my back and my entire left pec. I'm just curious about how long/how many sittings it will take to finish. The design I'm going for is going to be something similar to what The Rock has.

I got in! Getting a wolf crawling down my leg in a few hours.

Awesome! I really enjoy wolves, I already have two of those tattoo'd on me. I want to get one more not sure if at that point it will become an obsession..haha

Hi! Bomba here. Just found this site while browsing the web. I'm a fellow artist and I draw digitally and traditionally. I've always been intrigued by the concept of tattooing. I love the fact of someone being able to create art on our bodies. Being able to carry something you love permanently on your skin. I've always been interested in pursuing a career as a tattoo artist but that dream is put on hold for while or until I can find a reputable shop that can take me in as an apprentice, which won't be happening anytime soon do to the fact that the Most of the shops in my area don't really have skilled artists and those shops who do are close to imposible to obtain an apprenticeship in so I'll stick to my sketchbook for the time being. Buying a cheap kit online (which I will not do) won't make me into the tattoo artist I hope to become someday. Here are some of my work. My traditional is all on paper I will make sure to scan it into my PC and show you all. Critiques and tips on my ART is welcomed because I definitely know I have a lot to improve on.

Obviously a newbie, figured I'd finally introduce myself.
I'm originally from Quebec, Canada. Met my American wife back in 08, got married in 09 and have been in New Hampshire since 2010. She's always had tattoos and I always thought she looked amazing with them and finally decided to take the plunge about a year and a half ago when I began doing research for shops, artists that fit what I wanted to do. Been lurking on this forum and absorbing as much information as possible since then...
Found the perfect artist a year ago and got on his waiting list, been sketching and saving reference pictures and ideas ever since... finally received the call a few weeks back and I'm finally booked for October 10th for the first session and a 2nd session on November 7th. I'm going all out, starting out as a 30 year old fresh canvas, I'm getting my entire left arm sleeved. The plan is to get the 2nd arm done pretty much as soon as the 1st one is all finished and healed up. Money's already saved up and ready to go, I don't think I've ever been this excited to hurt for anything else in my life. :D

I started a black and grey half sleeve of a snarling wolf stepping over another wolves' skull! My next appointment is in the beginning of August to do the background to finish the half sleeve! Now, I already set up another appointment in the end of August for another! Not sure what to do yet, either something my artist drew up, a snake and dagger, or an undead horse.
