Just finished my thigh with Rose Hardy. She is excellent and every one in the shop said its their favorite of hers :)
Every time I go to Kings Ave I'm reminded how amazing a shop it is. Every one there rules. Love love love. Can't wait for the next tattoo!

I don't have a single letter on me. Not because of what i think about that form, but because i don't want people trying to "read" me, and lets be honest, they're hard to read unless you're up close. And that's my fucking personal space. An image (if done well) can be stared at from afar. And lets be honest again, people look whether it's rude or not.

Craziness! This sounds like a must-stop post-tattoo. Actually I think I convinced my fiancé to come with me to Kings Ave this summer solely based on the promise of hitting up Top Hops afterwards. Win!

Del Ponte's Bakery: Bradley Beach: NJ: Jersey Shore's Bakery they also own the bakery on the corner,and they have the best cannoli's that they fill fresh.
Tropicali Cuisine - FINS has good burritos,and tacos,and fruit smoothies.
cafe volan a 5 minute drive to Asbury Park and this coffee shop not only sells great coffee,but also sells artwork from the guy's at Electric Tattoo,and other's.

I was in the city with my wife and sis-in-law this past Sunday and one of them wanted to hit a bar before we went home. I said "i know a bar around the corner, we're not too far from Kings Ave. so i know the area a bit". That led to "hey lets go there, i want to ask about an idea i have" from my untatttooed sis-in-law.
Long story short, i wound up getting a sparrow just because one of the guys i've already worked with wasn't doing anything. She chickened out. And Oliver Peck was there! After 5 hours of eating, shopping and wandering around, that little impromput visit was the best part of the day. And then we hit a bar anyways. :p

I had a 55 gallon reef for about 5 years. It was absolutely gorgeous. Until i made the mistake of buying one fish without checking into it's behavior type. It slowly over time ate everything in the tank. I wanted to start over, but it's a really big $$$ investment.

My home shops are NY Adorned and Kings Ave., so i'm not sure i'll have any skin left by the time i've run through all the options at those shops. I never realized how lucky i was to have those two in my backyard until i started coming here.

I've been going to one shop (Kings Ave Tattoo) but getting tattooed by different people there. So far just guest artists, but I plan on getting almost all of my future tattoos there by their in-house artists. I have such a high level of trust with them. Every one there kills it and the shop houses a variety of styles if I ever wanted something else. Also, they are super nice and I know I can walk in there and be treated well and taken care of.
I feel like getting tattooed by one person has its pros and cons, but I would rather expand my options. Also, I love the idea of "collecting" tattoos. I'm looking forward to when I'm really old and showing a tattoo and being like "got this from______ back in _____" and every one starts freaking out. Kind of like Dan S :)

Yeah hes been awesome when ive been there, as was everybody to be honest.

Aw I keep seeing all the photos on Instagram, wish I had time to make it out. Sounds like it was a good time!
On a sidebar, John is definitely the best shop hand I've ever encountered. I can speak for tattooers, but as a customer he's very accommodating and kind!
