Hondacivic
So I just got my tattoo last Sunday and was wondering why my tattoo is looking like this was suppose to be a cover up. I use a+d everyday and been washing it twice a day

Amit Levy
Looks like you are putting way too much lotion. Other than that it looks like normally healing. Anyways you will have to wait at least 4-6 weeks untill you know the outcome and be able to do anything with it. TBag0525

Aussie Attitude
Well sometimes ink falls out and the hand is one of those areas that will require upkeep. But it is faded and flaking because it is healing. That is part of the process so try not to stress too much. Some areas are harder to heal than others. Let it be for now, don't over think it. Looks like the firat photo you have unloaded with closeup... Anyways in can I didn't make myself clear enough, keep the lotion to an absolute minimum, it's just there so the tattoo won't dry out. As long as you can see the lotion you are clearly putting too much.
Hogrider
As others said, cut WAAAAAAAAAY back on the lotion and give it 4-6 weeks. If you still aren't happy, see the original artist. Cover ups aren't perfect. Thin, delicate skin like the top of the hand are particularly tricky. oboogie
