  1. The fact that I won't get to see your Grime back piece is pretty good reason to be mad at the guys who copy custom pieces. I seem to recall seeing an ass-peony that was a big tease and was looking forward to seeing the final product. I'm sure other artists are wary about posting work online for the same reason, so it sucks for those of us who just enjoy looking at photos of good tattoos.

maybe in time but definitely not before it's finished. I'd be pissed if someone ripped off my idea and finished it before I do!!

  2. After paying for parking it's 100 bux a day. Freakin ridiculous! I complained on their fb page and mentioned that this would be the last year I will be attending...

They said it's in part due to the bands that play but I don't really care about the bands. I go for the tattoos :D

  3. More tattoos please !!

    I should not have digressed

Its backwards to me to actually join last october not seek any information or help

go get a tattoo then question your own decision with complete strangers all over the internet on various platforms.

Not meaning to come off as a tattoo elitist bullshit guy I genuinely want @Mike Clayton to be happy with his tattoos.

just to be clear, my comment wasn't directed at you or anyone else, it was more of a general statement to cut the negativity on the forum.

We want people to be attracted to this forum and ganging up on people will chase them away......

  4. That's awesome Moist Towelette getting work from Gogue is hard to do Though I will say I'm much more jelious you have work from Aaron Bell. Ill be getting my leg sleeved by Matt Deverson this year. Gonna be a fun 16 hours in two days

he seems like a cool dude, he's got an awesome neck tattoo from Grime that I look forward to seeing in person :D

What are you getting from him? He does rad peonies...

  5. aren't you just about running out of space, yet? :D

I'm gettin' there, I have to be pretty selective as to who tattoos the last couple of spaces. It's hard for me to figure out images that will fit as well, they're all fairly odd spaces..

  6. This is exactly why Grime told me to keep my back piece off the internet. I'm glad I listened to him.

Copying flash is nothing like copying a totally custom piece made specifically for the client. You just can't compare the 2.

I commented on that 3re pictures instagram and asked if he was proud that he completely copied another persons tattoo. We'll see what he says...

  7. Hey, quick question. Is this an event that you can pre-order tickets to? The website says it's just 20 bucks a day, I know a lot of convention type events will raise the prices of tickets as the date draws nearer. It doesn't appear so, but I figured I'd ask some people who have already been.

they did a weekend pass 2 years ago but decided against it last year, it just turned out to be too much work.

It's only a $10 savings and way. It could be worse, Ink N Iron is $60 per day plus a $7.50 fee and the line up for SFO blows away INI by far INI is such a 'scene' where SFO is just a bunch of dedicated tattoo collectors/nerds :D

  8. My buddy went to Thailand and got the one on the base of the back of his neck. I guess you have to get that one first and you build around it.

Permanent Mark is from Santa Barbara so I've seen some of the many he has, on his hands, the necklace one, the Thai tigers on his side.

I guess there's only one guy doing the real deal, he's way out in a rural area of Thailand and he's the same guy that's tattooed Chris Garver, Charlie Roberts, Hanky Panky, etc. There's a pretty gnarly story about the guy but I won't share that here...
