One of my favorites...label would make a good tattoo!

Cask conditioned IPA. Fresh...keg tapped Friday. I got the first 3 then and the last two pints tonight. Hell yeah

Waiting lists aren't what I consider. Competent tattoing is. And depending on where you live you can get a badass "walk-in" tattoo. Understanding what makes a good tattooer and a good tattoo is much more important than a waiting list in my determination of who to see. That being said, I would be stoked to be on Valerie's waiting list!

Its funny, it doesnt seem like much got done, then I compare the surface area he actually covered to my arm and its a LOT of color...we probably would have got more done if I wasn't such a wussy, needing a break every 10 minutes the last hour. I was literally wimpering a bit at the end...:o

Had 3 hours done on my ribs today. Looks awesome...fucking hurt. :-)

Hi, I'm going to have an oni mask put in my left armpit. Any healing advise is appreciated...I'm kinda worried about not being able to use deoderant for a while...I think everyone in the office will hate me, lol! Seriously, any experiences or recommendations on healing is appreciated.

I used to think armpit...but my left arm is 3/4 sleeved, and my left side will be done...so leaving a blank hairy armpit seems kinda...I don't know...incomplete.

I'm frequent a guitar board...we have custom titles...most of them come from crazy posts people make...like "squidpants" might have been one, or "warped tour body suit"... they are fun

I've never had an issue with bleeding due to the use of ibuprofen.

I had my eagle done last week in between sessions on my side and I loved it! It was fun getting something done in one session...my side probably wont be done until February or March...I will probably get a few littler tattoos done while I work on my side. I will probably be getting tattooed everytime I can afford it for a while. @jade1955 has me inspired.

3 years! I would be going crazy. I have until the 17th until my next session on my ribs/side...about a month between sessions seems good for that area, just enough time to get over the fear of the pain...and then enough time to create anticipation and excitement.

Thats cool D! I have only read the Crying of Lot 49 (its really a great little book...there's totally a tattoo idea in there) and about a quarter of Gravity's Rainbow. GR has been a little bit of a struggle for me, i dont know why. I have enjoyed what I have read so far. Plus, I like the Frank Miller art on the cover of the version I have (geek exposed). I need to read the other ones! I'l have to check the forward of 1984, i think my kid has the newest edition... Have you read Infinite Jest? I think you would like it if you haven't.

I always take 2 advil an hour before I get tattooed...I think it helps a little with the pain, but it seems to help a LOT with the swelling.

I took percocet before an appointment once. It just made everything worse. The ribs hurt...but its not the end of the world. I recommend a good nights sleep and eating well...you should be fine.

This is the only thing you had a problem with in that entire diatribe? Tattooing isnt really the bastion of political correctness...
