  1. Ok, gearing up to leave my house for my session with Kim today! Session 4 or 5 on right arm, I have lost count. I don't know. Maybe the last one... we shall see. I'm sure to post some stuff on Instagram. Hope you're all having a great Saturday. ETA: and by gearing up I mean sitting on the couch with the computer in my lap thinking, "hm, guess I should get up now and head toward the car..." Feeling LAZY. Maybe I can sleep on the table.
  2. That Nickelback woman looks SO much like a retired first grade teacher I worked with it is uncanny. Every time I see it I think, could that be her? Have I ever seen her chest? Just checked her Facebook and found some pics at the beach. No tattoo. Could that be drawn on with a Sharpie? I guess it's just her doppelganger. She's a little older than the woman in the pic, but that was taken in 2009...
  3. ^^^hahaha @Shaun1105 it's a term my friends and I use... kind of a general term for a certain type of guy. Sometimes we also used to call them "white baseball caps".
  4. for the ladies...kinda funny for a Snickers ad (sorry, a bit off topic): http://youtu.be/0gjsoSY18kg
  5. Awesome. We met him at Perseverance. He was really cool and chatted with @DJDeepFried about possibly tattooing him. Not sure if/when that will happen, but, yes, his peonies are amazing.
  6. Yay, another couple on LST! My hubster is on here, too.
  7. If we must label I'd say this dude looks like more of a Joey Joe than a hipster... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Oh @Brock Varty  :D - - - Updated - - - The regular way to cover arms: tunic, cardigan, long sleeve t-shirt... An INTERESTING way: those tights sleeve thingies: armery Armery from Mary Portas - Mary & Charnos Armery - from Mytights (The armery idea was from another thread, too, the Tattoos in the Workplace thread, idea originally posted by um @HaydenRose was it???). Still have yet to get some but it seems like a good idea.
  9. My weekend "look" is jeans and a tank top or t-shirt... My weekday work look is nicer jeans and a tank top or t-shirt WITH a teacherly cardigan! Keeping it simple. :-) Never had a problem getting tattooed during that time o' the month. Luckily, I don't really get crampy or moody during that time either. It has no effect or bearing on scheduling appointments or pain for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. It's small enough that you could probably have it covered with something bigger & better without having to laser it. First find a great artist, then ask that artist what they can do.
  11. Same was true for me @beez and @HaydenRose, I pierced my own nose when I was in my early 20s. Kept it pierced for a couple years then took it out for a while. Re-pierced it for a while. Took it out. I don't have a hole there any more, totally healed over. My tragus and rook are my fairly recent piercings. I like them, but yes, it is a much longer healing period than tattoos. Much quicker and easier to get but harder to heal. Still, worth it if you like the way it looks and commit to cleaning the piercings diligently. Conch next... (I think). I thought it was kind of weird that I started getting into piercings again in my forties, but then I thought what-ever, who cares, it's fun. My pic from instagram:
  12. Ha, I just looked that old thread up and was just about to post it. But what the hell, while I'm here. I have 5 in my ears currently. I like them. Will prob get one or two more, who knows.
  13. Rainbow Dash is our daughter's favorite, too @Bunny Switchblade ? Very sad about the 11 yo boy.
  14. Right, haha, go for it! Long sleeve shirts! What's the big difference? A couple inches of fabric?More arm tattoos vs less arm tattoos. Hm tough one, yeah I'm leaning toward more... that's what I did. No regrets.
  15. Hi! Hang out, watch the videos, read the forum threads... When you get your first tattoo, post pics here, we'd love to see it. If you have any questions about who to get tattooed by, we can help you. So many good artists in and around LA.
  16. Just might want to keep in mind that if she doesn't want to fix it, it might mean that she can't...and getting angry or trying to convince her might just make your tattoo worse. But hey, see what she has to say--you never know!
  17. She looks really happy! She's got that cute little smile... in the first one she looks like she's up to something. How cute.
  18. Not excessive! They look beautiful in those frames.
  19. No! And people have been getting tattooed for a loooong time. I wouldn't worry.
  20. Yes, thanks for posting that @Tesseracts! Seems like it would solve the problem of my "ink armor tattoo cover sleeves" falling down from the shoulder. I think I need that. If you don't want to make your own I found some here: Armery from Mary Portas - Mary & Charnos Armery - from Mytights
