  1. Had my 3rd session a couple days ago. It was sooooo painful. Inner arm from wrist to pit. I took only one pic and it's not that great of a pic. Doesn't really show much. I could only sit for 1.5 hours before I tapped. One more session of only 45 minutes left on the outline, then off to color/shading. I tend to sit much better, and for much longer, when it comes to shading and color. This tattoo is coming along nicely. 8e70e953f2d50105093e8d772f196423.jpg

  2. Haha thanks! I post quite a lot as I can't really get feedback from friends and family--half doesn't care or does not have any interest in tattoos while the other half straight up hates ink. So I barely get any constructive opinions.

I understand I love this forum. With that said, it is a bit slow. I have other hobbies and when I go to their respected forums, I need to read 4 pages to catch up on what was chatted about that day. Maybe tattoos just don't have that huge of a forum following. But this forum has been great.

  3. Any updates?

Non yet. I pushed my first session back from late October to feb 3rd. With the holidays here, I could not be selfish and drop a grand on a outline for myself. But when feb 3rd arrives, appointments will be mad ever 3 weeks until done. Already took every 3rd Friday off for 6 sessions. Will add more if needed. (Sure I will)

What's funny is his shop is s cash only shop. I find this crazy in 2016. I have had maybe 8 tattoo artists work on me and they all have take. My debit card/ credit card. I would think on large pieces like 20 plus hours, not many people are sitting on that type of tattoo cash. I've been saving, so I'm cool. I would rather bump the price of my tattoos up 3% and there is the credit card charge. He is an amazing artist, so people will get the cash I guess

  4. I had a clipper done last week and it was only 3.5 hours. It boy, she was heavy handed. Out of the 16 tattoos I have, this one killed me. At one point I did a mini 2 minute tap. I told her to hold on. But then I was right back in the saddle. Have no idea why it hurt so bad other then here packing ink in my rose in the ditch. I was just getting annoyed.

  5. Portland tattoo expo was in town this week. As always, it's my favorite time of the year. I have always had work done there and this weekend was no different. I am working on a American traditional piece. Got to meet Corey Miller. He was not tattooing, but had a good conversation with him. Cool dude. Been a fan of his long before he was on LA Ink. Here's my piece. A clipper with a rose. Be good friends acc82108743dad71da200eb982171d64.pngacc82108743dad71da200eb982171d64.png

  6. So had my consult today. It is going to be awesome. Saw his other Japanese sleeves and was amazed. So we are going with the koi and dragon themed sleeve. He was

Mentioning something about the koi collected a pearl and on his way up changed to a dragon or something like that. Anyways, his waves are some of the best I have seen. Seems like such a simply thing like water would be easy, but his just stands out. Also some windbars and cherry blossoms. He said in about 3 weeks he will have it drawn and ready for outlining. Put the deposit down and just waiting for the call. It's happening y'all. A bit nervous, but it's more excitement.
