I get to play the same game with my brother, luckily he lives pretty close to Name Brand in Ann Arbor, and plans on moving down to Austin next year. I forsee a brotherly gathering at Rock of Ages at some point in my future.

If y'all have too much pride to go in and buy a big pink bottle of Coochie, Edge just started making a couple shaving creams specifically for... manscaping, I guess. Edge Body, comes in like a squeezy bottle, I haven't tried it out yet but it exists.

Always excited to see the internet working correctly. May as well share my LST success story, ha. I always wanted a tattoo, but all around me I always saw garbage, so I only had really dumb ideas for pieces I wanted done. I also spent all my money on drugs and booze so thankfully none of my bad ideas came to fruition. After I got sober I started thinking more seriously about it and during my research found LST and some blogs with quality work, I finally realized how awesome tattoos could be, versus the shit I see walking around town. Almost done healing my first piece, super excited to collect more!

Folks know I've been planning on getting one, flying home to visit next week, can't wait to see their reaction.

I am in an awesome relationship right now, my girl has a few tattoos and she's really been good for me compared to some others I've been with in the past. I was a plainskin but she always saw me on instagram checking out tattoos and browsing this great website we've got here. About a month ago she asked what I wanted for my birthday, I couldn't really think of anything so I said nothing, and she brought up a tattoo! That's too much, I said, we'll split it. Anyways I ended up with pretty much the best present ever and I'm super stoked to have an awesome girlfriend and a sick tattoo. </end sappy story>

Yesterday I drove down to Denver and had a quick consultation with Marie Sena at Dedication Tattoo. Brand new shop, they got a lot of the guys from Th'ink Tank over there. So stoked! After planning, reading, and looking at pictures for two years I can finally get my first tattoo!

A shiny new snowboard, its just... caught up in the usps somewhere right now. Waiting til saturday to get together with the friends and exchange gifts, work and stuff getting in the way of everything

I'm just getting into A Dance With Dragons, slowly making my way through the series, very fun read although sometimes I get distracted with faster paced books. I feel like the first season of the show was really great and true to form, while the second season seemed to go in a slightly different direction, which was welcome but a little unexpected.

When I got out of rehab I spent about a month in a halfway house before coming home and getting back to work. The transition from an intense in-patient program back to the "real world" can be tough, I found it really helpful to be surrounded by people in a similar place in life, a big crew to go to meetings with (one or more a day or you're outta there) and random drug tests just in case. Seems like a good number of LST folks have made their rounds through the recovery scene, lots of good advice here. Like everyone else seemed to have mentioned, meetings are really great, even if you don't have anything to say there's quite a bit of knowledge being tossed around, Al-Anon really helped my moms understand and feel better about what I was going through.

big surprise... I fail once again at getting tattooed. I'm going to stop posting plans and embarrassing myself, and then just surprise y'all with pictures when I finally have some extra money. (I got a new car instead, so not all is lost, first vehicle in six years, woo!)

I used to collect glass pipes and artwork... not so much after getting sober. Filling that gap with books, sneakers, and streetwear. Snow and skateboards kicking all over the place... hats. I really like hats. I tend to get super obsessive about things and just send it.
