Haha, man. Watching @Bearcat78 get after it was truly something. After I got my stomach done, I was cringing at the thought of getting tattooed again. Impressive, sir.

Here are 5 of the 7 I got last week. Unfortunately, that rose isn't gonna be that pretty once she finally heals lol. Looking rougher than hell right now. Will upload some pics of other two once I take some.

I am less than two months out from Rubendall to work on my right leg. No real plan...pretty much gonna turn him lose. 

Just booked with Grez on November 30. I'm actually starting to think I may go a touch bigger, so may try and get in a few days in January or February. 

Amazing, how bad did your shin swell up after that?
 

I think I might be done, at least with big stuff, for a bit. I've got a few little ideas in my head that I might do but that might be it for a while. The amount of free skin I have left has really shrunk over the last couple years and I really should think out what, and who, for the rest of it. 
And then @suburbanxcore mentions Pagoda, which seems to be the place fir me to cross paths with Marina, so perhaps it is just a pause until Pagoda.

Book with Scott Sylvia to one shot my stomach at Pagoda City. Last appointment of the day on Friday, "so we don't have to rush." Have a few ideas for what I want him to do, but still have to settle that.

I currently reside in Portland Oregon which is a pretty free thinking liberal microcasim in a conservative state. This year I traveled to SF, Oakland, LA, and Seattle so far and what I've noticed is the sheer previlance of hand tattoos on younger people (my people) 20-30s. Having had the opportunity to be tattooed by some of the most respected cats in the game we've talked about this phenomena. The resounding answer I hear from those tattooers is that they will avoid tattooing hands at almost all costs. When I really break it down with them their criteria is always the same, the individual should have heavy coverage, a stable job without any aspersions of making a massive shift in the work force and an understanding of the gravity of a hand tattoos whether they see it that way or not.
I love hand tattoos I love the power they carry and at times I see myself with them one day. I always end the internal conversation asking myself those same questions. Do I have the coverage that would garner the respect of those in the industry I look up to, am I in a financial place where I feel stable enough in my job, is there another career that I might be limited or barred from because of my self expression?
I am in no way suggesting these are rules everyone has to have thinking of getting hand tattoos.  I guess I'm hoping to start the conversation on this current influx of hand tattoos, will these young people change the norm in accepting hand tattoos or are they just as limiting as we were raised to believe even in this day and age?

Here is an update on my Fudo and Dragon sleeve from Scott Sylvia. 

Finished this one with the incredibly talented Kahlil Rintye at Tattoo City here in SF. It came to me in a dream of strange cities..
Cthulhu Rock of Ages, complete with fish-lady from Innsmouth wearing her sacred tiara. Photos don't do it justice. If you ever decide you need a large tattoo, I wholeheartedly recommend Kahlil for the job.

I've been gone for way to long but Timothy Hoyer will be hitting the road across the country. Keep an eye out, legends like that don't often come around.

That dude does real nice work.I remember seeing his stuff when he was only tattooing a few years,and it was good.You know he started out in NH,and he does travel to the east coast to do conventions and guest spots.There's a lot of talented tattooers in Portland.I got tattooed by Jerry Ware@ Atlas Tattoo :: Portland, Oregon They have some real good tattooers there too.What are you thinking of getting from Ryan?
