  1. Chad Woodley and Dax Brunet at Sanitary Electric. Jeremy Riley at Tattoo Union, Nick Wasko has his own private studio right now, Ryan Halter who is just outside the city in Richmond, and Government Street Tattoo has Chris David and D-Boy Sanchez.
  2. You should stop by on Friday. It would be great to see the work you got at the SF Convention. I am getting tattooed by Scott around 2pm, and then Matt next, and then hopefully Marco after that. Marco is tattooing my wife as well, but we are not sure on the time. After all of that I am not sure if we will have enough money to eat, but if we do we will be going to Araya's Place. It is going to be a good time. Trevor said they are having a party on the 12th, but we can't make it till the weekend.
  3. You should come up on the Friday. My wife and I will be there all day, and maybe some of Saturday.
  4. All booked in for Matt Arriola, Marco Hernandez, and the world famous Scott Harrison. All for the same day.
  5. Whatever is going on it is a real fucking mess. I hope that whatever it is that the collection does not fall into some crazy mess of litigation, and end up in a government basement or worse.
  6. MIKE GIANT « REBEL8 Mike Giant posted a couple of pictures of Chris tattooing his head.
  7. If you want your head tattooed get your head tattooed. I don't have mine tattooed, but I have seen it done, and the recipient didn't seem to be doing that bad.
  8. Chris Trevino, Jason Brooks, Tony Hundahl, Jay Chastain. Chris will have the longest waiting list, but he is probably the best non-Japanese Japanese tattooer in the world. Jason Brooks is fucking incredible and unique. Jay Chastain is also a great tattooer. I just got tattooed by Tony about three weeks ago, and he told me he is usually only booked a couple of weeks in advance. I got a hannya mask from him and it is really nice. Ben Seibert works with Jason at Great Wave, and he is getting to be as good as the rest of them. Paco Cendon is also in Austin and does great work. Also Rock of Ages just posted their upcoming guests which are Matt Arriola, Thomas Hooper, and Robert Ryan.
  9. Funny you should say that. I used to work at a bar in Hollywood that Billy Gibbons frequented. He was the nicest coolest dude you will ever meet.
  10. Jen if Richard didn't have you would he even have email. I just don't see him as the computer type.
  11. I think most of us were guessing Richard or Chad K even though they both technically do have shops. I can't think of anyone else that travels that much.
  12. I have enjoyed all of the Tattoo Age episodes, but for me this is the one I have looked most forward to watching. - - - Updated - - - How about the backpiece line-up at around 1:55 in the trailer? Mike Malone by Ed Hardy, Mike Brown by Mike Malone, Thom Devita by Huck Spaulding. Does anyone know who the other two guys are? I would guess that their backpieces are by Ed Hardy, and I assume that they are probably tattooers as well. Does anyone on here know for sure?
  13. I am with you on all of this. I have tried to watch this show. I struggled through the first season and about three shows into the second season because so many people I know like it. It is terrible. The very first rule of storytelling is don't say it do it, and this show does not do it. These people stand around talking to each other like an episode of "Intervention". It is time to start re-watching "The Wire".
  14. Brian's tattoos are great. I am also a big fan of Mike Rennie's tattoos. He is another guy that you don't hear about a lot, but puts out great work.
  15. I will am planning a trip to Austin in January or February. I may even make it out to the San Angelo convention, but I don't see Oklahoma in my near future. But six years ago I didn't see a wife and two kids in my near future, and look at me now. So who knows what will happen.
  16. A little longer than that, but not much. Now you need to get Richard up to Seattle or at least to Olympia.
  17. I got this from Tony Hundahl yesterday. His appointment didn't show so he had some time. Drew it on and tattooed it in a couple of hours. It is hard to tell in from the photo, but it is a pretty big tattoo on the lower inside of my thigh.
  18. If I were going to San Francisco I would get tattooed at Blackheart, but if you are looking for a small Japanese tattoo I would go to Diamond Club or over to State of Grace and see Horitomo.
  19. I think that it would fit really nice on the chest, but it would look real cool on your back as well.
  20. I don't think there is much else to figure out.
