1st = Do you know what "style" of tattoo art you want?
next = Keep in mind that whatever you end up picking - it doesn't have to be a "traditional" representation of a memorial tattoo. Anything that reminds you specifically of her or something you two shared and which brings a smile to your face will work best.

Explain to the shop manager that Polynesian was only part of what you described earlier, and that specifically Polynesian is not what your consult and deposit were about. Give him or her a chance to liase with the artist . . .

Wow. Personally, I'd zap it with a laser once or twice and get something else. Or, either way, really, go see Mike Moses at Spiritus Tattoo in Columbus, dude is a very talented artist and tattooer.Ha. you beat me by 3 minutes . . . :)
