My first tattoo was super fun, if not perfect. Both the tattoo artist and I missed a spot at the top left hand corner of the tattoo (the stencil didn't transfer fully), and I'm not sure it's entirely symmetrical or on straight, but I'm neither symmetrical nor straight so I guess it works.

    This is it fresh:

    And 48h after!

This was your first tattoo? A head tat? Fn GNARLY dude go big or go home lol I wouldn't let the fact its not perfectly symmetrical bother you, still looks good.  Majority of tats aren't perfect.

  2. To be honest bro I think It looks better where it is than where you have the line. Give it a couple weeks to try and get used to sometimes you will end up liking something you thought was weird at first. If you end up wanting to cover it tho you wouldnt be able to cover it with those same words and make it look good IMO.

  3. Always hate to say this but you are correct in your fears this tattoo does not look very good. Looks like he jacked up a line in the middle and decided to just make it bolder than the rest. Good news is it can be easily fixed by a good artist just have him bold the rest of it out. It is uneven but not that bad I think it will look good if you just bold all the lines. Good luck and always remember you get what you pay for

  4. Would appreciate any help I can get. I have 12 traditional tattoos on my arm and have been trying to think of a filler tat to go on my elbow. My artist tells me he doesn’t like doing them because they usually don’t heal well and it has to be a design that will work. But when I asked him what designs will work he kind of shrugged his shoulders. What designs do you guys think would fit well here?

Thanks for the advice guys! I think my problem was I let the artist kinda run with it after I gave him the initial idea, and he added in all the extra little details

Happens. I didn’t like my first tattoo either after a few years. What’s good about yours is there’s still plenty of ways you can make it cool. You could do stars/space above the sun and just expand the landscape a little bit to the sides. The more money you spend the better it will look...generally. Look for a reputable shop they will turn this baby out! I would add color too just my opinion

  6. Just put more of a landscape around it, fill in the whole upper arm so you can’t see the diamond shape and make it one big landscape scene. It is not a bad tat people probably give you funny looks because a lot of times girls get the diamond shape landscapes.
