  1. ........ @slayer9019 as a Community Leader, stoked! We approached him after watching him join the site awhile ago as someone with no tattoos looking to get tattooed who ended up getting a tattoo he wasn't satisfied with so he took advantage of LST further so he could learn. He has since gotten some great tattoos and continues to work to help other new members and longtime LSTers have a better experience. One of the reasons we started this site was to show tattoo customers some of the best tattooers are approachable and the wait to get tattooed by them may not exist and/or is not that long plus affordable. In the long run it ends up being cheaper actually. Thanks and welcome to the team!!!!
  2. @Natveggie45 If you want PM me where you are at and we can talk as I may have some leads for your daughter in your area. Most my colleagues and I work from a Motivational Interviewing and Harm Reduction framework which not only has great research to support change but also change we've seen facilitated by individuals more often than not.
  3. Where you at? Since it's in Marin you'd ferry up then cab since the damn BART doesn't go here (wish it did)
  4. Just wanted to say thanks for taking part in the site as well as welcoming new LSTers!

  5. Recently saw The Heir Apparent Largo Winch on Netflix Instant and it was amazingly good!
  6. Here's an oldie but goodie, Tattoos Behind the Ear on Women
  7. The edit button should now be available for about twenty-four hours for all users after post is first done
  8. Here's some stuff LSTers recently wrote about in the Knee Tattoo thread (start at post #93), hope it helps.
  9. Thanks for asking though unfortunately we don't as it is just a generic app that works with the program we use for the site. Have you seen the thread, Mobile App for LST that users have shared their experience? I do know that we are trying to make the site better for mobile users so hopefully it's getting better.....
  10. @CaptCanada gotta wait n see..... On several occasions have fallen skateboarding and/or other mishaps from lil scrapes to big bloody ones on tattoos and it's always a waiting game. Once fell skateboarding with a twelve pack of bottles and that tattoo on my hip is pretty jacked. Elbows have been fine as far as I can see. Knuckles hit n miss healing. Stomach/front of ribs from surfing for long hours getting a rash that would lead to bleeding is hit n miss in spots (matter of fact healing from Cabo now)...some healed fine while others didn't. Take pictures now n then after n share with us.....
  11. @gougetheeyes no mediums yet or white shirts for guys but what I can say is we should have a new shirt very shortly!

  17. @cfgsteak SOMA and The Mission have seeing a spike in mugging-esq crimes over the past few years though SOMA does have some good places to eat and stay then The Mission good places to eat. The closer to Market is best for BART. For all those who are coming to SF the World Wide Website Jetsetter has been having some really nice SF and Sausalito hotels for good prices so you may want to sign up on that site and watch for sales....if you want to join send me an email with your email address and I can send you a join link. It's a good site to be a part of if you travel fairly often as well. We just may have to do two back to back month LST meet ups.....September for our two years and October for those coming for the convention....
  18. @HaydenRose they are definitely the non-verbal in the room, haha.
  19. Wanted to respond to your post but outside Erik's intro.

First, I've enjoyed having you a part of the forum and watching your tattoos and post grow since you first joined. Really cool to bare witness to it, hope you're having fun!?!

Lastly, yeah I still have most my back open and most of my right leg (I'm trying to do smaller pieces by various tattooers so I can keep getting tattooed) then smaller spaces/filler scattered throughout the rest of my body.

Thanks again for being a part of the site with us!!

  20. @HaydenRose I wrote a long winded post back when this thread started so if you want take a look back (post #61)...the overall summary is I'd say it has helped me. You also have to take into account what school of thought you will be working from and how much of "you" you want to enter the linguistical dialogue and clinical relationship. I work from a more zero to no self disclosure with the focus, exploration and discovery via the clients language school of thought (think Motivational Interviewing with Harm Harm Reduction meeting Lacanian) listening from a non self reflective/relating societal norm way of interacting. I rarely if ever answer any question related to my tattoos though they are clearly in the room and clinical relationship. One of my old staff was doing some research and actually posted the recruitment on here, Calling Female Tattooed Clinical Social Workers, and I bet if you contacted her she'd share her findings.....let me know if you have any questions.

  22. Another Frith St. customer joins LST, radicool...thanks for taking the time to not only join the forum but also get tattooed by some of the best putting your money in the right hands! Look forward to seeing your tattoos.........
  23. @gougetheeyes !! He'll be joining the ban hammer glamour @hoog We'd like to thank Gouge for accepting the move from Community Leader to Moderator to help us try and better the forum all out of kindness and no pay. I know Team LST appreciates all you do for the site!! Plus we look forward to meeting you face to face on your visit out this way......
  24. Welcome Erik and glad to see you're back. You coming back out this October? Wanted to get tattooed by you and Nick last year but it didn't line up........maybe they'll get their shit right this year with you.
  25. Not hopeful, it'll happen (as long as work doesn't put me out of town though everyone should meet up regardless!)!!
