We've got four cats and two dogs. Like others, there's far too many favourite photos to choose from.
However, this week I'm going to see the highly excellent Monster Truck play in Glasgow, so here's Jorja rocking one of their T-shirts. Because - well, why not. :D

Some guy named @Scott Sylvia put a cobra over my elbow. It swelled up nicely:

    But healed perfectly:

Every tattooer who sees it is amazed that he got that red in like that in one pass.

    Hello and welcome @guacamole!
An eagle is a solid choice for a first tattoo. Your tattooer should have some good recommendations for the placement of whatever design he comes up with. Upper arms are always a good place to start. It's pretty easy to heal, not a super painful place to get tattooed, won't destroy any future employment options and you get to look at it.
My first one was on my back. While I wouldn't trade it for anything:
    1) It made it complicated to design a full backpiece which is something I am now interested in pursuing
    2) I NEVER get to see it. When I got my second one (on my arm years after) it was like having a tattoo for the first time. It sounds silly but I highly recommend getting your first one someplace you can see it. It's just more fun to see it and obsess on how freaking cool it is! :D
Also, for the sake of detail and having an impactful tattoo, don't be afraid to go a little larger than you think, maybe.
Be sure to post some pics! Good luck, have fun and again, welcome!

Whoa, with all the awesome tattoos posted in the Lowdown thread recently I'm surprised no one's posted here yet. I'll kick it off! Here's my thigh by Seth Wood, started at Temple and finished at Saved.

The two ladies of the house:

Cheezie Cheetah & Miss Pickle enjoy sarcasm, playing hard to get and Temptations treats. Oh, and sleeping in my sweater drawer and getting cat hair everywhere.
Winston the pug is my little prince. Actually he is more of a glorified cat without the agility. He enjoys short walks in the park, sniffing the cats butts, soccer and stealing pizza. He is turning 8 this summer and is gracefully becoming more surly as he enters his golden years.

Just adopted a 1 year old small black lab mixed with who knows what. We got it from a local rescue that drives to the South (he's a Kentucky dog) and brings them back to the twin cities. So far, much like myself, he's enjoying the change and the snow! He's really mellow and doesn't appear to have been too traumatized. Dogs really are great.

    HULA BUG!

She's looking far better than the last time I posted pictures. A lot of her yellow has come in and it appears as though she is a Super-Hypo. Short for super hypomelanistic leopard gecko, meaning that she has none of the spots that standard leos have, save for the tail and a few on the head/face. I'm thinking she also might be a carrot-tail (30% orange tail), cause with each shed a little more orange shows up.
Basically she is an adorable tiny dinosaur. :o

That's just what they're hard wired to do. I'm glad that only one of our four seems to have the knack of doing it successfully, mind you.

We have two cats - an 8 year old orange cat named Calvin, and a 2.5 year old orange cat named Darwin. It was hard not to post all 5784 pics of the boys, so I held myself to just three. Darwin is the one perched on top of the screen door.

    What's up, everyone?
Been lurking a little here and there for a while. Recently got much more interested in tattoos, so thought I'd create an account. Lived on both coasts in the last few years. Grew up in VA, tried to make it work in Seattle, messed around in pretty much every part of the country (Alaska included), now in NC. Collected a few tattoos along the way ;). Anyways enough talk, picture time!! Hope this works:
Dragon by Will Lollie in Asheville; swallow rose by Mario Desa; feet by Danny Reed also in Asheville. I have a lot more including some older pieces from Koeplinger, Jason Scott, and a couple peeps from Liberty tattoo. But I have a thing about posting my tattoos online. I'm just posting these because they've already been IGed by the artists, except for the Reed feet - I just wanted to show those off :p. Enjoy

At the last count as well as two dogs, we've got five cats, which is really a few too many, but it's not all our fault - one or two of the cats are technically strays that decided to move in.
Still I've always liked this photo, taken about 8 years ago now. The big one was called Tiny, and we got him from the rescue centre when he was about 17. He was supposed to be a committed "outdoors only" cat - the Centre had changed their policy and weren't going to let any of the animals roam about any more. They were all going to be confined to pens, so they wanted to rehome the old man to somewhere he could get fed, but just live outside. Hmmm. From the day we took him home, he never ventured out of the house for more than about 10 minutes at a time. He was virtually blind, and entirely deaf, but as you can see he was quite long suffering with the homeless kitten that we "adopted" a couple of months after his arrival. That's another story though.
Tiny passed on maybe a year after that, but Lara the kitten is still going strong!
