I have several pieces form Greg Christian, https://www.instagram.com/gregchristian4130/?hl=en he travels a lot to conventions, and I totally love his bold line work and saturated colors. here is one he just did for me. or any number of other artists, there are tons that do AT, where do you live ? I like going to conventions the most.

yes, those feelings are 100% normal and will go away, and also, that's a badass tattoo, very nice !

this for sure

hi, most all of my tattoos have no "meaning" ,they have mostly been classic tattoos, cool art, or just to get something from a particular artist, deep meanings behind tattoos make great reality TV, but not for me. I look at that tattoo as a design, I don't care what it means if I like it, I get it. (or a variation of it)

I'm a tattoo artist looking for a community to grow with!

Hi and welcome, you won't find any discussions here on tattooing technique and methods, but feel free to show off your work ! -
100 % normal and that feeling will go away,

right on ! that's cool, are we neighbors ? do you live in the Sacramento area ? I do, I live in Orangevale, I just got a little gap filler from Greg Christian when he was guesting at the Royal peacock party a month ago.

nice tattoos ! who made them ?

it's a nice tattoo, what you are feeling is normal and it will go away, and before you know it you will be planning your next bigger badass tattoo. so take a breath, relax ,and finish watching the playoffs.
-
looks normal to me, looks fine, wear it with pride, show it off,and plan your next badass tattoo. oh ! and stop looking at it with this
-
yep ! I turned 60 last October.
-
maybe the tattoo had already started peeling, that could look like skin. if not ,then I don't know what to tell you.
-
there is no way once the tattoo is done that any dermal film will "rip off some of my tattoo". all you saw was some normal fluid seepage coming off your skin on the dermal film, and a tattoo needs 6 weeks to fully heal. it will be fine, just use a little Aveeno a couple times a day, and let it finish healing.

IMO you have to do what it takes with what you have to work with if you want to stay in the business. If you have to start where this new shop wants you to then I would do it,apprenticeship offers don't come along all the time.

it's perfectly fine to take it all off, wash it with a anti-microbial soap, and then re-apply new dermal film, it's ok and recommended to overlap any pieces that you need to to cover it all, it helps if you shave any of the area around the tattoo that you think the dermal film will stick to,(that will make it last better on your skin, and make sure your arm is clean and dry before applying the new film. get a good application and you can leave it on for 4 or 5 days.

please stop doing this. 🙂
