    Crooked tattoo

I think the right coverup artist could easily rework that into a nice piece, kind of like this.
  2. Hi Brett, and welcome to our community !
  3. not really what I did,but what my wife did,she surprised me with this rare collectible surfboard for xmas, she's pretty awesome.our home has a "island/tattoo" theme. (front & back)
  4. IMO it looks cool,a real moth is not perfectly symmetrical anyway.
  5. I got this little filler on my rt leg today for the 13th, tattoo by Will Veile @ Crimson Needles Tattoo ,Penryn,CA
  6. guy sounds like a dick, the shop I was at today they would have 86'ed him. that sucks that happened to you. cool tattoo :)
  7. just try a lotion like Aveeno fragrance free to moisturize , LOL and maybe when in the sun try a sunblock around 50 spf ?
  8. I have been getting tattooed since around 1984 but I have gotten more work done in the last 4 or 5 years than ever. here are the ones in the last 3 years. I got one 03/13 and one 09/13 and one 08/14 and one 03/15 and one 05/15 and one 09/15 and one 02/16 and one 05/16 and one 08/16 and one 10/16 and I am getting one today !
  9. I'm getting a little Friday the 13th banger tomorrow.
  10. while you're at the pharmacy pickup some soap like I pictured below, and don't forget to wash it & keep it clean ! from day one after getting a tattoo & every 4 hours for the first 10 days I use an over the counter anti-microbial soap,I wash my hands in warm water first with it then I wash the tattoo under warm water and "scrub" the tattoo with the palm of my hand ,then pat dry it with a clean paper towel and then a light application of aveeno, also, moderate "scrubbing" with the palm of your hand in the soapy warm water will help remove loose flakes and ink and skin. be sure and get the fragrance free Aveeno,it has less alcohol in it .
  11. try a non "tattoo" product,IMO they are over priced hyped up crap. I use Aveeno Fragrance free,it's so good,a light coat once or twice a day works great,I use it also as an on going forever daily product on my hands and tattoos.
  12. I was never in the Navy, but I got my anchor tattoo like many people have and I'll guess most have not been in the Navy either. just like my Marquesas ,and my polynesian, and native american feathers tattoos,is all just art. I don't think it's disrespectful at all, screw the politically correct crap ! like I said before, nobody owns a style or form of art. IMO no big deal. sorry for the rant, and I didn't mean to derail your thread.
  13. like @cltattooing said, maybe if you posted a picture of it we could get an idea of what it looks like to help you ?
  14. LOL stop looking at it with a microscope ! it's a tattoo on your skin,it's not a perfect art. as tiny as that tattoo is,it looks fine for what it is. let it heal, enjoy it and move on. is that your first tattoo ? remember it takes 6 months to fully heal.
  15. I heard that's a great show,I would love to go this year, but I won't be able to make it this time :( but thanks for posting it !
  16. I have 2 tattoos for 2 dogs that I have loved and had in my life,my dogs are very important to me too,I love the 2 tattoos I have for them and, well, once I have gone through the process of getting a tattoo,I have never looked back or regretted one.ur,uh,well except for a tattoo for an ex wife which is covered up now.One of my tattoos for a dog I had is one I get compliments for all the time even from plain skins.
  17. all sounds totally normal to me,whether one has 2 or 30 tattoos,I think it's a normal human feeling,I get it still too.
  18. holy shit ! that's quite the list for this year ! very nice !
  19. keep it clean, wash it with anti-microbial soap and scrub with the palm of your hand 3 or 4 times a day, let it heal, I personally don't like A&D,I use a very light VERY light coat of cocoa butter, for the first week, then fragrance free Aveeno, I have also used a VERY VERY light coat of Aquaphor with success before. the red bumps ? IMO that's from the A&D and probably too much of it,I've gotten those before from too much gunk. if it's not infected the pimples or bumps should probably go away , and remember ,tattoos take 6 months to fully heal. but above all,KEEP IT CLEAN ! like I said, for the first 10 days I wash my hands with this soap first and then in warm water I scrub the tattoo with the palm of my hand and carefully pat dry it with a clean paper towel then a SUPER light coat of Palmers cocoa butter or Aquaphor.
  20. wow ! that's cool ! sounds like fun. I would love to go there and get some work from this lady Line Mariëlle Kloosterman https://www.facebook.com/LineMarielleTattoo/?fref=ts
  21. speaking of lady heads,I would like to have one from Valerie Vargas, she goes to the SF show,I may give her a shout this year and see if I can get in with her.
