  1. Thanks
Dan got a reaction from Arrendell in Sun exposure on tattoos that are not new
once a tattoo is healed the sun will not hurt it,
that being said, keeping yourself protected from the sun is a life long thing, skin cancer is a real concern, so sunblock if you will be in a hot sun for a while, etc etc, UV protection is also ongoing, just good practice to shield your skin form the sun, but it will not damage a healed tattoo.

Looks great!  What I meant is that is it normal to go to different artists for a sleeve to look cohesive? I’ve gone to two now but the latest artists style I prefer so will stick with him!

im sticking with the same theme for my sleeve! 🙂

a lot of people like to do one cohesive style sleeve, I didn't go that route,

Thank you mate! Just didn’t want one looking jet black compared to the one that has gone grey…
what’s your view on patchwork sleeves? I am thinking of getting main pieces and then filling in the gaps with fillers. Should I do the fillers at the end or as I go along?

they both look black & gray, the new one will settle in and should look similar to the old one.Like was said,3 days is too soon to be healed.
tattoos take a few months to heal and longer to "settle in",

the top half of fingers keeps ink pretty well, the palm side not so well, I just got my wedding ring on the top half for that reason, I got this on my ring finger and all of the first knuckle about 5 or 6 years ago and they have held up good IMO, the one love ones are a little newer, and after the tattoo is healed, don't worry about the sun.

life is short, get the tattoo.

Well, not that recently, but the idea was "Nah, snow is gone long enough, I'll be fine to go to the train station by bicycle..."

I needed Tables/Workbeches for my new workplace. Since I couldn't find suitable ones, I made them myself, so they would use the available space as best as possible

it looks like a good tattoo to me, leave it alone, and if there is any blowout, there is nothing that can be done about it, so don't worry abou it and start planning your next tattoo.put the magnifying glass back in the desk.

Dan reacted to Hogrider in Is this a tattoo blowout?
It takes 6-8 weeks to heal. You’ll know then, regardless of how many times you ask or how you word the question.
Having said that, thin delicate skin, like where you got your tattoo, is most prone to blowouts and thin lines make them the most obvious.
There is nothing you can do except cover them up if it really bothers you. It’s been asked dozens of times.
