Tesseracts got a reaction from polliwog in Tegaderm/Saniderm/Tatuderm healing process
The scab I was complaining about fell off yesterday, and there's no damage to the tattoo. Itchiness is 90% gone. The tattoo is 12 days old and it looks great, although I only have one other tattoo so I don't have much to compare it to quality wise, this one was definitely less of a hassle to heal because of Saniderm. I'll take more photos in a couple weeks when the onion skin is gone.

    At the request of @polliwog , here's that tattoo from @cltattooing .

This was after it was all healed except for the smoke, which later lightened to where you can see the outlines.

My pegs, tattoos by RHW (snake and rose), Cris Cleen (lady in the mirror), BHR (vulture head), Carolyn Le Bourgeois (snake, Niña Blanca), Scott Sylvia (candle burning at both ends), and Nick Colella (eagle and flag). No plans but to fill them up with rad tattoos.

Credit should go where credit is due, this idea actually came from @BrianH
Anyway, here's my legs, or the start of them anyway.

You can't actually see most of what I have on them. The panther rose was done by Chad Koeplinger, the ship is by Ron Henry Wells, you can see a bit of a swallow done by Bert (I don't know his last name but he goes as "Bert Monster") who worked at Tattoomania in Montreal when I got that tattoo, but now works out of a private studio, I believe. You can also see tiny bits of a rose and a snake done by Tony D'Annessa, and a tiger-faced hannya done by Danny at Tatouage Artistique. More towards the back of my right leg, and totally out of view is a piece of Doc Forbes flash done by Chris Hold who tattoos at Sacred Heart in Vancouver. Not everything on them goes together, but I like my legs because it's been a lot of fun getting those tattoos. I'm waiting to hear on some time off I requested from work to go to Barcelona, so hopefully I'll manage to add something else to my legs from El Monga or another one of those Aloha guys in July.

In the spirit of "fuck-it" I present my left leg. @gougetheeyes now we can feel weird together.
Snake/torch by El Monga last summer at spider Murphy's
Candle/Skull by El Monga March of this year at tattoo city
Cattle Head by Stefan Johnsson Jan of last year at California electric
Planning a panther on the knee at some point but it'll have to wait a bit. The other leg has some odds n ends on the thigh, but not enough coverage for me to feel it can hang in this thread yet!

Bumping this to share some kitsune art I've found, hoping others will post more. This is a great subject for a tattoo, and not one I see often.

Went to KC for the weekend and managed to snag a walk in with Noah Moore, he filled in a pretty awkward spot with this rose:

Three absolutely great tattoos so far! will add this into the mix just for fun. My 3/4 peacock sleeve by Mie at Nine Tails Tattoo in East London. Its a cover up of an old black and grey piece that I had 6 laser sessions on over a couple of years. Final touch up finished last week.

    Hey guys,
I'm a 21 year-old from Birmingham, England, looking to get some work done. I'm quite in to illustration, so I've spent a lot of time refining a concept that I'd love to have somewhere on my back – a combination of a creature from the old video game, Super Metroid, and Giger's Alien. I realise it's got a hell of a lot of detail in its current state, but that's just my style of illustration, and one of the things I'd like to work with or around.
I've also spoken to a studio about having one of their artists rework this design to make it more tattoo friendly, but I wouldn't mind the advice of a couple of people with some ink know-how before making any commitment, and so I know what to potentially ask for.
This is what I've got so far:

Looking around, I worry about how well this thing would age – particularly the lines on the leg and thigh, which are pretty important for that Alien influence. I've messed around with the contrast on Photoshop in order to draw out the boldest lines and help with this. The Size would probably be somewhere in the region of 8 inches across – I'm open to working with that as well, though money is a factor.
Anyway, I'd be grateful to know what else I should be considering.
    Cheers.

I'm not really convinced by either of these, although I bet the second one is closer. It's probably related to the Buddhist concept of the third eye.
I see this Buddha Eyes (Wisdom Eyes) Symbol - ReligionFacts used in Jondix's work a lot. I've seen similar symbols in Japanese tattoos.

Here are some of the geeky tattoos I've gotten to do so far. The fingers are my own, Tiff did them for me this past week. The vaporeon is also on my own leg but I tattooed it myself :) I LOVE tattooing geek/nerdy stuff. More please lol

My Kim Saigh arm is healed. Why is it so hard to get good pics? There are 5 shots here and still no full view of the inner bicep rose. Oh well. Good enough!

Latest (unfinished) addition to my back. Badly bruised, especially under my arm where you can't see. We couldn't finish the details, and the scales are barely started. He said my skin was done for the night.
I hate to put up something so incomplete, but it's going to be forever before the last layers go on anything and I'm impatient!

Thanks! I figured it had to do with enlightenment or a Buddhist philosophy or some such.
I agree though, I think there's something funny about some of what the descriptions say. There are a few contradictions I think. I'm sure there are more than a few depictions on people too, where even the artist didn't really know what it represented and mixed elements up unintentionally and just added it in because they'd seen it somewhere and thought it was cool. Not that it would bother most. It really just bugs me because I like learning about the stories and little details like that and it drives me nuts not understanding.

It's been six weeks since the last session, but today we finally got to continue on my back. At first we just wanted to do the colouring of the Kitsune, but we even managed to put all the blue in the coat. All this was done 4 hours (of agony :) ).

Well played sir! Well played. I just read the tell-all book about The Room, by Greg Sestero (he played Mark). The 8 second scene you linked to above took close to 3 hours to shoot. One of the funniest books I've ever read.
