That tattoo is so fucking cool. Thanks for telling us what you wanted too, because when I see tattoos like that I always wonder what the client asked for.

Had a cool session with Eddy Deutsche and received this Goldfish, powered by a Kappa pilot. My input was: weird, eastern influence, and I threw out a bunch of classic imagery.

Fuuuck, people keep getting amazing tattoos. So excited about the fact that many of the cool ongoing projects that I see on instagram turn out to on people from LST!

So I was hanging out at my local shop going through Piotrs new book full of old woodblock prints and I saw in the corner of a Kuniyoshi diptych depicting Taira no Tomomori these little fish samurai dudes, I told him you don't see enough fighting fish, usually just rats and frogs carrying swords, and he sketched/painted this guy up for me.

In two weeks, I'm heading down to San Francisco / Oakland to get tattooed by Scott Sylvia and by Freddy Corbin again.
I'm pretty pumped about it to say the least.

THIS THREAD WAS SO FUN! I've missed so much.. Lil panther guy by Mario Desa on my right, and on my left I've got a sleeve-background-skin triangle where a little "Mom" heart lives. That actually says, Ma. No photo of that one though.

well good luck ! I think you're on the right track with the tattooers you've listed - my vote (which doesn't count!) is for Gerhard or Iain. You will never look at your butt the same way after it's tattooed !
...i think i posted this somewhere else...about when I was healing my backside and my wife walked in on me cannonballin', spreading ointment on my bare ass. Like WTF, right? She could not unsee that, it was weird for her, and I'm all like 'what? we're married!" Once you black the crack, you cannot go back !

I met this dude (I bet someone here will know T-Po) in Toronto, 2007...he had this AMAZING portrait of BILL COSBY on his ass cheek. Like an incredible tattoo. He also had this super-shitty Edmonton Oilers tattoo, which was also amazing because he was from Ontario. Really good dude, friend of friends, helped out a lot of bands.

...so my Mom decides to clean my room one day when I was living at home. She was flipping all the mattresses in the house.
And she finds this ziplock back of epsom salts.
So when I get home I find Mom sitting quietly and anxiously tells me to sit down we need to talk.
She says she found something under my bed ... I'm like oh shit mom just found my best porno mag.
Then she asks me if I was on drugs. I'm like Mom!?! WTF!?!
Well I guess dear old Mom was really upset and concerned all afternoon, thinking i had started a cocaine habit !!
So I had to come clean and tell her they were epsom salts for soaking my fresh nipple piercings LOL.
That ended the conversation right there, she didn't want to hear about lol.
She didn't find the dirty magazine stash...yet...that's a different story and my younger brothers fault.

This is a bit of a joint effort. The Dagger, Collar, Angel and Reaper (2-6 weeks old) are by Fergus Simms - Melbourne Tattoo Company, and the Eagle Snake fight (2.5 months old) is by Jess Swaffer - Chapel Tattoo.
Wanted to wait until the whole spot was done before i posted them up! Super happy with them, and two of the nicest tattoo experiences (bar the pain!) I've ever had.

My local artist, Keith Reed, is putting a moth on my left thigh next week to (sort of) pair with the one Oliver Peck put on my right thigh over the summer. We haven't mapped out specifics yet, but it will be based off of some Spider Murphy's flash.
In February I'm planning a trip to LA to visit a friend, and we're looking at some matching "bro tats" while I'm out there. It may end up being a walk in job, but also going to potentially call around to a few shops in advance.

Chad Koeplinger made this at the Stockholm Inkbash in august this year. I wanted a meditating figure but not in buddhist or hindu style and send him a bunch of different ideas of present and historical cultures/religions to get him started. I was very happy when I arrived for the appointment and he decided to not draw one of my suggestions, and instead made this hopi indian in a thunderstorm. Also this is the first tattoo with tattoos that I have my body, and the first swastika. Happy about that

I downloaded and read part of it. A medical-Toxicological view of tattooing my ass. In the introduction it says 50% of people who get tattoos regret it. I've never seen a number that high. 20% of inks are contaminated, but only 1-5% get infections? In Germany 68% of tattooed people reported complications? My tattoo itches, I'm infected, allergic, having a reaction!
Typical of all of these type of articles I've read. Lots of judgment, innuendo and conjecture, few, if any, actual facts. Lots of assertions with little or no basis in fact. I've said it before, with the 10's of millions of people being tattooed and many HEAVILY tattooed, if there was an actual problem, we'd be seeing it.
